  Hotwire rated this hotel a 3 star but it is a 1 (ONE) star. Slumlord owner requires a $250 CASH deposit. 'Convienently' there is an ATM next to the front desk and with a $7 fee you can give them the cash if you have $50 or you will have to complete another withdrawal as the machine only issues $200 per withdrawal. No one came to look over the room before giving me the $250 back. SCAM!!! I have NEVER had to leave a cash deposit as the hotel has my credit card. FILTHY!! A previous occupant wrapped the smoke alarm with plastic wrap. There was a used wash cloth hanging over the shower bar. Black hair on the phone. All uphostery is disgusting. The toilet seat is stained brown on the inside and red on the outside. The outside door was not locked. As we booked through Hotwire, we could not go elsewhere without losing our money.

  Nasty rooms and icy steps

  Our rooms were covered in pet hair... Pop machines werent working.. Motel smelled nasty... And steps were covered in ice. The tension on exterior door is probably enough to really harm a small child. This used to be a nice place. Not sure ill ever be back.

  Dont stay there, they take your money and its scary!

  Dont get fooled by the nice looking picture on their website, this place is like paying to stay at a hathway house or shelter, the staff are unfriendly and unkind and they dont refund if you cant make it there, they wont even refund parts, nothing at all, the check in at 3pm no expetion unless you might be dying, i read other reviews and the place is disgusting

  Beyond Disappointed

  I have stayed at many hotels in my day and this was BY FAR the worst experience I have ever had. I booked through Hotwire and no where was it noted that there is a mandatory $250 CASH deposit. When I voiced my shock to the front desk clerk he was extremely rude and condescending... and then pointed to the ATM conveniently located in the lobby. I didnt have a choice BUT to concede as it was midnight, I had just finished a very long drive, and my trip was non-refundable. To make matters worse, the hotel smelled like mold, the blankets smelled TERRIBLE and clearly had not been washed for days, and the water in the shower would not stay hot. I guess it didnt matter too much, though, as I needed another shower after I left there. If youre considering staying here, dont. Pay the extra $30 to stay at an ACTUAL 3 star hotel. Trash.

  good place to stop on two-day road trip

  the room was very nice, and the heat/cool unit and the shower worked great. the night mgr was very conscientious, he came and helped me work the key card when i wasn't doing it correctly, and he even came a second time and got the TV on the channel i wanted when i couldn't figure how to do it with the remote. very convenient location, five minutes off the interstate, very quiet. the wi-fi was uneven, and a few lights were burned out, but there was plenty of light even without them. the mattress was a little too firm for my taste, but that's a pretty individual thing. there wasn't anything that i needed to have fixed to make the room livable. i wish there was a way to give it 3.5 stars. it is not a luxury hotel, but it was nicer than many of the hotel rooms i've stayed in at more expensive places.
