  A clean and comfortable hotel Jeju

  I stayed few nights in Ramada Jeju Seogwipo Hotel during my business trip to Jeju. Located in a quiet area, closed to the Jeju World Cup Stadium, the hotel is new, in modern design, warm welcomed lobby, comfortable bedroom, separated toilet and bathroom with stanshower, a bathtub and lavatory set outside to make the room more spacious. I like the setup. A comfortable restaurant is located in the 1st floor, buffet breakfasts was ok but with less choices and did not have menu rotation. I try the Gym on top floor which fit for 3-4 gymers at the same time. The is a lounge and sauna service but i did'nt use. The staff is courteus and helpfull. In general the hotel is good in its class, i like it and reccomended to any guests who want a reference.

  Clean hotel, quite and nice

  5 nights to stay here for work trip. The hotel was very quite and far from the center of Jeju. Comfortable for who have business in the Convention center. Clean and tidy. I just feel so boring with breakfast, every day is the same food. No new and no change the food. So boring. Staff is from restaurant was nice, friendly. Should be used english more than Korean if you welcome guest from oversea.

  Clean hotel, friendly staff, convenient location

  I stayed here for 6 nights recently for a workshop which was also held in this venue. The room was very cozy with single and double bed provided along with an abundance of very comfortable, although slippery, pillows! a 32inch flat screen with heaps of channels to keep you occupied during those sleepless nights. Mind you, most of them are in Korean, but nevertheless, entertaining. A small study desk and chair was uncomfortably located at the end of the room along with a single-person armchair and footstool. The reason I say it was uncomfortable is because you had to squeeze past the two beds and armchair to get to the table. which made it inconvenient if you wanted to make a cup of coffee since the kettle and sink were at the other end of the room! The toilet was a fancy automated one with buttons for flush and other functions. The shower was very nice - overhead rain-type shower - good water pressure and came with hot and cold. A large sheet of glass separated the shower and beds so if you wanted to watch tv while in the shower, this let you do just that! The room had a private safe above the bar fridge stocked with free bottled water which was neatly hidden away in a cupboard. Also had a kettle with two mugs and two drinking glasses, but no coffee or tea! Towels were changed everyday by housekeeping. A downfall of this hotel was that there was no laundry service! And reception said they could not arrange for laundry services for me, although I was willing to pay the extra costs. Another downfall was the lack of hangers and hanging space for shirts and coats - like a wardrobe. The room only had two wall mounted clothes rods which could hold 3-4 hangers at most. I brought with me 5 dress shirts and 5 t-shirts but not all could fit on these rods. To make things worse, the hotel only had one iron which they seemed to lose track of when I enquired about it on my first 2 days at the hotel. Also had two small drawers which I could not fit all my pants into, so i just used my suitcase as a third drawer. Having said that, free wifi and free breakfast buffet came with the room so that was nice. Although the options remained the same during my entire stay, I did not mind as I was satisfied with my chocolate cereal with cold milk, boiled eggs and espresso coffee. The free-to-use gym on the 10th floor was small but sufficient with treadmills, ellipticals, cycles, a set of dumb bells (only up to 15kg) and a Smith Machine. Also had free cold water and fresh towels. The hotel is located to nearby restaurants, a shopping mall (E-Mart), MacDonalds, Starbucks and a 7 Eleven, which was good for those late night cravings for Korean convenience food. My room also had a beautiful view of the World Cup Stadium. Finally, the staff were very friendly, always smiling and greeting me with a courteous bow. Check in and check out was very smooth and they even arranged a taxi to take me to the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable and conveniently located place to stay while in Seogwipo and can do without coffee/tea, laundry services and a wardrobe :) Thank You Ramada!!
