    Isnt it terrible when you pay for what you think is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location and it ends up a flop. Every time we needed towels we needed to put them in bags and tske them to the office. It nevet got cleaned the couple of days we were there. This was the second worst hotel we ever stayed at.

    Do not spend your money at this place!

    Caution if you stay here -- this hotel will ding you for huge cleaning fees if you are not careful! If you have to stay here, make the front staff check your room and sign off before you leave. We have stayed here twice, once in March 2018 and the second in May 2018. Our first visit made us a little nervous -- desk staff varied from rude to helpful, and check in required an open credit card ticket in case of damages/cleaning fee from our two little Yorkies. This ticket is not given back when you check out but remains open until "corporate closes it", according to what we were told at the front desk. When we checked out, we insisted the front desk staff come verify our room was clean and undamaged and give us a written statement to that effect and mark the ticket closed. The second time we stayed (in May) we did not have our dogs with us. We rented two rooms, one for us and one for grown children. One daughter vomited chocolate (suffering from altitude illness) and cleaned her mouth with a towel -- which had a brown stain on it. We failed to insist that the staff check that room before we left and give us something in writing (since we only had what we considered normal usage) -- and to our shock, we were charged a $275 cleaning fee! We are currently disputing this fee through our credit card since the hotel management refused to budge. We have had to spend hours and numerous phone calls dealing with this situation. Stay somewhere else. We are calling Ramada Corporate as well as putting in this review because this experience has tainted our previously good opinion of Ramada establishments.

    Avoid this hotel

    Nasty damp rooms. Springtails (sewer flies) in the bathroom sink. Very tired hotel. Rude desk clerk. Avoid this one. You can get a room nearby at a Marriott or Westin or other major hotel brand for roughly the same price.

    Horrible

    We had made a reservation to stay at this hotel and had a family emergency come up. We had to cancel all of our plans and head back home. When we called to cancel we were instructed that they would still have to charge us. After explaining our situation the lady we spoke to said not to worry she would take care of it. A few days later I find I had been charged. We tried to call and ask why the lady had told us she would take care of it since we had an unexpected emergency and we were told that a manager would call us back. It has been over a month and we still have not received a call back. We have called 5 time since then and keep getting the run around that the manager is not there and she will call us back. When making reservations one should inform people of the policy to still be charged even if cancelled. I definitely would not have reserved a room.

    No Longer In Business

    My granddaughter is competing in a figure skating competition next week in Colorado. I had made our reservations at the near by Ramada about three months ago knowing I would most likely need to modify it once we learned the event schedule. I received the email confirmation on June 1 so all seemed set. Well, I went to modify the reservations today and what do I learn? The property has been closed. Yup, closed as on no longer in business. Wyndham sent no email or any other communication informing me of this development. I ended up spending an hour on the National Reservation line finding this out since all you get on the local number is a badly garbled message. So now we are a week out and I'm scrambling to find other suitable and affordable lodging. Everything so far is 50% - 200% higher than my original reservations for a similar room. Wyndham's Special Case office is supposed to call within 5-7 days to see what they can come up with to resolve the problem. Damned ridiculous they didn't notify me in the first place. Even more ridiculous that it should take so long for the Special Case office to contact me. It's a good thing I needed to change the reservation. Otherwise I wouldn't have found out until we got there next week with no place to stay. Really, closing a property and not notifying reservervation holders on record is not okay. Not happy with Wyndham Properties right now.
