  Hotel lamentable

  Hotel en mitad de un pequeño pueblo con nada alrededor. Un solo ascensor pequeño para acceder a las habitaciones. Las puertas con llave de las antiguas (lo que dice mucho de un hotel). La habitación con decoración bastante antigua y las sabanas hasta con rotos. El cuarto de baño muy antiguo. Necesita el hotel una buena reforma. El desayuno lamentable con muy poca variedad de productos. En España no sería ni un mal hostal de carretera.

  Decent hotel for a night

  Booked two rooms through Book It.com for one night. Town is very quaint! Hotel was expensive for the amenities. Booked two triple rooms and asked for extra cot in each room, assuming this would sleep 4 per room. But in fact, the 'triple' was a double bed with cot in room (thankfully, youngsters could sleep on floor without extra charge). No AC but fans in rooms. Restaurants closed from 2-5 P and reopen at 5. Groceries are open from 8-8 only! There is a discount store by name of Woolworths, great stop to replace items that never appeared at baggage claim.

  You can find better

  I stayed in the hotel for a week during Jun 2017. The hotel is outdated and there is no a.c in the rooms which was a problem since it was over 30 degrees outside. Breakfast was ok and the staff was friendly. My colleague's room was facing the road and he was complaining about the noise early in the mornings. The elevator stops working after 22:00... Parking is in the street and not always available. You can park in the hotel garage for $8 a day. To conclude I would have found a different accommodation in the area if available.

  Shocking customer service

  We booked the hotel and when we got their the reception was closed. When we called the hotels office in Mannheim to get assistance they told us they could not help us. So we found another more helpful hotel and stayed their instead. The H hotel still billed us for the room that we did not have. They clearly dont want customers to come back again. The person on the phone was most unhelpful.

  Very average!

  We checked in after a long and hot day of riding our motorbikes through Germany and were very disappointed that the rooms were just as hot as outside was. We decided a cold beer might be best and went downstairs to enquire about where to get a drink. The helpful man at the front door said if we waited ten minutes the restaurant adjacent to the hotel would be open. At 5:55pm, he told us the restaurant was open so we went in and were met with a very unwelcoming woman who informed us that they opened at 6pm. We quickly exited back through the hotel and decided we'd go elsewhere but after a quick look outside - there was nowhere else close by to have a drink at. So unfortunately we had to go back into the restaurant. A man came to take our drink orders and asked us if we had made a complaint to the hotel about them. We tried explaining that we hadn't - we had just walked back through to the hotel after being informed the restaurant was not open yet. He wanted us to write a letter to the hotel to say that we had no problem with the restaurant - which we declined to do. We stayed at the restaurant for drinks and dinner, only because it was the only restaurant we could see near the hotel. Unfortunately the restaurant was even hotter - no fans on & no windows open. After sweltering in there for almost an hour, the man saw us fanning ourselves and decided to open some windows, which helped a little bit. The food was alright but didn't make up for the overall experience. Hotel itself was clean but very hot and staff in the hotel were friendly.
