Bed very noisy and breakfast was teribleMe and my wife was on a long awaitet short trip to flensburg without our daughter so we were really looking forward to this "freetime". We found your Hotel on the internet and have had a stay on one of their hotels earlier and had a wonderful stay there. So it was the obvius choice that your hotel in Flensburg was the obvius choice. The price was right and all looked great. The staff was very nice and professional nothing to complaint about there. The room was on the first sight very nice, so we just placed our luggage in wandered out in the city. Had a nice and wonderful day in the city. Then we were back at the hotel and were getting ready for bed and was looking forward to a comfortable sleep We have never sleept in a bed that was so uncomfortable and was very very noicy. The noice from the street was nothing compared to bed. Turning in the bed was not a possible because of the very bad bed amd the noice. And somehow the madras was turning apart so there was a large gap between the beds.. Finally the morning came and it was breakfast time. We know there is Covid-19 times, but have you ever eaten breakfast were there was more lettuce in the bun and no option to get a bun without salami or cheese there was , some of the buns were so hard that it was impossible to eat..The only choice to have something with out lettuce, salami or cheese were a dry croissant

Horrible service and staff ridiculing usCheckin was 4 hours delayed after promised check-in!!!! No sheets on beds when we FINALLY got our room. When asking the man in the reception about the missing sheet, he ridiculed us - and made other guests laugh at us. We're still furious about this experience! No tissues in the bathroom, and barely any toilet paper left, force us to go to the reception again (no telephones in the room). No cleaning during our stay at the room "due to Covid19". Isn't the point clean more? We were able to negotiate a minor refund (at our own request), but not even close enough to be satisfied. SO disappointing. Nice location of the hotel, but the service was horrible, and we will not return. Ever!

7-9 Aug.2020Wanted to book Alcadia, not found on Booking.com, we found RAMADA. Left Copenhagen at 07.00, arrived Citti shopping center Flensborg at 11am. Arrived RAMADA hotel at 14.10pm.... HOSPITALITY Gutten tage mine damen und herren, velkommen ind RAMADA.... ah English, welcom Sir and Madam, welcome to RAMADA..... NO, this is how it went,! Big man at reception, not very smiling, kind, or helpful, and not very clean looking. TOO EARLY TOO EARLY was shouted out at my wife and I, LEAVE BAGAGE HERE. COME BACK LATER, dont you have one room ready, TOO EARLY TOO EARLY. 95 rooms, all booked Yesterday, TOO EARLY, so what time can we check in, 3pm, TOO EARLY. And while we waited for him to help us, he was having an argument with another guest regarding parking his car which was two meters high, could he not park behind the hotel NO NO NO YOU CANT..... We came back at 3pm, the man was gone, a young inexperienced looking girl booked us in, want breakfast? how does that work?, is it in the room,?, her reply,?dont know!. The beds and pillows were the worst we had ever experienced in a hotel !, mattresses so soft we were afraid we would fall out if we turned over, the pillows were terrible. Next morning we showered, being very careful not to fall, as the bathtub is 70cm over the floor. Towels on the floor, as it stated on the card in the room, if you require new clean towels leave them on the floor. After a few hours in town, back at hotel, the towels were still on the floor, room not cleaned, no new toilet paper roll, bed not made with new sheets, bin not emptied and no coffee or milk. After a short while we left hotel again, but stopped at reception to mention towels etc. A Russian or polish girl, arrogant and completely uninterested in customer satisfaction said she would look in to it. Back in the early evening, room not cleaned, no toilet paper, no clean towels. I took the towels down to reception, she said, quote; I looked outside the room, there were no towels on the floor, outside the room. The bathroom floor I said, no outside, no the bathroom floor I said, oh yes thats right she said, she got a set of towels and almost throw them at me, anything else ? she said, yes toilet paper, how many?. Not one single member of the reception staff are fit for the job, or experienced in hotel hospitality. They should all be immediately fired, and new nice, smiling and experienced staff employed.. How can Ramada group have people like that working in hospitality I have no idea. The reception area is dark and dirty, the elevator cleaning list was being filled out without cleaning, the windows and doorway needs cleaning, as well as the area around the entrance needs sweeping and high pressure washed, urine and sick needs cleaning away. Ramada Flensborg receives not even one star. A very disappointing experience and we will never ever stay the again... Disgusting staff, hotel, service (no service), no cleanliness. We just hope that Wyndham senior management read this.

Very nice hotel for a city breakWe stayed one night in beginning of October and after reading the reviews here, we were a bit worried about the standard of the hotel. BUT we were very positively surprised: rooms were clean and nice, beds were fine, staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful (phoned the restaurant and rescheduled our dinner). Breakfast was fine, a lot of the things were in small containers, hand sanitizer everywhere. Location is perfect for a short city break. Very good for the prize and I would like to come again.

Sad decline!I used to be a Super-fan of Hotel Arcadia, before it was taking over by Ramada. All the happy times, the lovely staff and the attitude towards the guests at the Front Desk. Just survived 48 in Room 309. I was 53 when I checked in. 48 hours later I feel like cribble in need of a wheel chair. 1) Bed: Unreasonable hard (Guests wants to sleep well) 2) Telephone in hotel room? Nope (why?) 3) No extra pillow or blanket in closet (Why?) 4) A waiwer offers the guest a free beverage at check out if you decline to have your room cleaned. (Why not go all the way and make the guests clean the room themselves? Staff reduction is trending in these times) 5) Front desk staff: I was unfortunate enough to be checked in and out by the same female receptionist. If I was to put it diplomatic I would claim that her frostiness would suck out the holiday excitement in anyone in 2 seconds. As a paying guest you expect to be greeted in a welcoming fashion. A hint of a smile or a kind word would have made all the difference in the world. Since I told the receptionist in no uncertain terms how I felt about her attitude and approach to welcoming guests at the Ramada, she probably told her colleges about this awful guest (me). If I was the owner of this once so wonderful hotel, I would have transferred this receptionist to work behind the frint desk, where she probably would be a competent asset to the hotel. I didn't get her name, since she wasn't wearing a visible ID-badge and her name was nowhere to be found at the receipt I recieved, when I checked out. My heart grieves for the Old Arcadia
