First disappointed then improved on the second night slightlyOur first impression was this is a big hotel and not for us but our travel agent booked us in. Our first room smelt of cigarettes and was in a need of renovations. We asked for a better non smoking room and it improved slightly with a better view, better bathroom but the bed was still uncomfortable and still the air conditioning smelt of cigarettes. The door bolt was on the floor and looked like had been ripped out of the wall. The furniture looked very tired and was not up to a 4 star as requested. Only good thing about this hotel was its location near the bell tower and the markets.

Good HotelGood hotel, clean, the people is available and the breakfast is very good. The rooms is very big. Is a little far from the center, you need to take a bus and the subway (it takes 1 hour to go to the center)

Comfortable, quite, cleanI enjoyed my stay here. The complementary breakfast is very good. There was no hidden charges or fees very refreshing. The location was good for me. There was wedding and other functions here during my visit. So I guess the locals like it too. I was not impacted by the events that where transpiring here. As I recall the top floor was a convention area.

way below expectations for a 4 star hotelI booked the most expensive executive room for 12 nights stay @ almost 600 RMB per night and this is what I got: - mini fridge at the room not working. I complained to the management and was told that none of the refrigerators are working in other rooms. The first 2 days thy brought ice in small bucket and after stopped. - Room not cleaned properly and do not change change bedding sheets - breakfast quality what you expect to habe at 2 star hotel. No proper coffee, very basic coffee maker with cheapest coffee that you find at bed and breakfast and hostels. Poor serbic and quality.

NICE ROOMS BUT ON THE OUTSKIRTSWe booked this hotel with our Wyndham Rewards points and have to say that we were not that impressed with this hotel. The rooms are large and quiet which was a bonus, but we did have a problem setting the air-conditioning to work effectively. We were uncomfortable for the first couple of days until we called for help. The maintenance man came up and wound the temperature all the way down to 17 degrees which in turn got the compressor to kick in. It all worked fine after that. This hotel caters almost exclusively to Asian tour groups that arrive at night and leave after breakfast. The buffet breakfast does not really have anything apart from eggs and bread for the Westerner, so be prepared. Get in early if you want to find anything left. I was the only European in the hotel but I'm used to it after travelling throughout Asia during the past 47 years. It is not a hotel that I would recommend to a European traveller. It's location is a bit remote and requires a taxi to go anywhere. There's no bar that I could find in the hotel, so sitting in your room tends to get a bit boring.
