  Second visit

  I had my second visit in January, and I have to say, it was very pleasant! My room was clean, all the staff were very friendly and helpful! My only criticism would be I felt the meal in the restaurant was a bit pricy! Am looking forward to my next visit!

  Fantastic surprise

  Having booked this hotel because I was to be meeting and staying with other people that had already booked here trusting that they knew the place as they traveled to Beira often. I started to read reviews of the establishment. I found very bad reviews and was a little concerned I had made a mistake in booking here. I met up with the people of the company I was traveling with at O.R Tambo Airport in Johannesburg and we flew to Beira, only to be told that they had never stayed there and hoped that they had not made a mistake in booking there. GREAT!! Our trip into town from the airport was not encouraging and on arrival it looked like our fears were to be confirmed as the outside is not all that welcoming. WELL, what a surprise, the inside is newly renovated, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, I was lucky I had a view of the sea. The bathroom although had no bath had a very nice shower, always had hot water and the air-conditioner worked a treat. The only drawback was the cost of their breakfast which was rather steep for what you received, i would expect to pay that in 5 star hotels in London.

  Great Location,good views

  Best thing I found was the location. It stays in the commercial area of town with a gret view to the river and harbour. I'd been here before the renewal and didn't like. Got a second chance these days and could see some improvements. The rooms are from far, more confortable and very clean. It offers a good sleeping quality and that's all. There's a lack of quality on the TV channels and poor light in the bedroom. The restaurant offers bad quality for the prices they offer. Very good parking and very attentious staff

  it is still ok

  it had been a while that I dont visit Beira. I had stayed most times at this hotel. This time I stayed for a night and was given a room on 12th floor. it seemed that although basic hotel, the hotel management and staff are trying their best to keep the hotel going. from check in i felt welcome because the receptionist was friendly and professional. the room and wc were basic and clean. although the TV is limited to a dozen local and international channels the selection gives you the relevant news and movie channels. check out was quite quick. Definitely will come back again.

  Best stay in Beira, best Help Desk ever!!!!

  After staying at a few other places in Beira i decided to come to the Rainbow hotel Mozambique. I was welcomed with a smile and friendliness and even met the manager of the hotel also who were more than welcome to accommodate all my needs. With a very spacious room that was clean and serviced daily, i was as happy as can be. With a very good breakfast to start the day, 2 juices, three cereals, 4 kinds of bread, eggs, omelettes, chicken, patties, toast, vegetables and salad. All the staff made it felt if i'm back home. I would definitely recommend this hotel, is it for a night or a week, in my case it were for 2 weeks. Should you not want to eat dinner in the hotel you can walk just over the street to Sunlight Food Court with fantastic food, also on the other corner you can do take away's from Domingo's or just go for an ice cream also at Domingo's. Next to the hotel is a Bank with an ATM should you need to draw money. This were my best stay in Beira and will come back again to this Hotel in the near future when i come on business trips. This is the best hotel if you look at the rooms that are spacious and the amount you are paying for it. The bathroom is just as spacious with hot water, sometimes the hot water takes a while to get through but wait for it, it will be warm within a minute or two!!!!
