  Excellent and relaxing place to be!

  Wow! This place, these people.. And this atmosphere.. You feel yourself like in heaven The room was cleaned every day, the territory was also so very clean and beautiful. We have to say many thanks to the stuff. We rested with our 3 children, so families with kids are really welcomed here! And we are certainly coming back!!! Thank You!!!!

  Nice rooms, isolated and cold breakfast

  The property is nice, but a bit remote and not close to anything. This makes it very peaceful and quiet. It is a $6-$10 taxi ride to and from Ubud central, if you go outside the scheduled times for the free shuttle. The thing we didn't really like was the breakfast. The only thing that was served hot and fresh was the cooked eggs. Most of the other items didn't even have the warmers turned on to keep them hot, so things like bacon and sausage were served cold. When I asked them to turn on the warmers, it seemed like a lot of effort. Most of the food is uncovered, which in an outdoor dining facility meant that there were lots of bugs and flies around the food. Most of the staff were very accommodating and eager to please and the rooms are very nice, spacious and clean.

  Rest and relaxation

  My friend and I went for a five night stay here as I needed some downtime after recent events and it was fabulous. Away from the mad tourist areas the peace and quiet was just what I needed. The staff were lovely, the pool just right and wonderful spa treatments onsite. It is over an hour from the airport and nowhere near beaches but only 10 minute shuttle to Ubud and shops etc.

  Very well maintained room, gardens and beautiful pool area.

  I recently stay here for two days, after being in the hustle of Seminyak for 5 days. To get away to Ubud, where the hotel is located in a quiet area, 5 minutes away from the town was exactly what I needed. My room was very large, with what looked like the biggest bed I've ever seen. Must of been a super-king sized bed! I lounged around in the pool area for most of my time here, and got their driver to take me into town whenever I needed to go out to restaurants or bars, at $6 each way, which I thought was very reasonable. I booked in a massage at the hotel, which was so beautiful and relaxing. The massage room overlooks the gardens which was breathtaking! All the staff at this hotel were very accomodating, friendly and always smiling, helping me organising transfers etc wherever I wanted to go. They even let me stay the day I was leaving to use the pool all day/night until having to go to the airport late at night. I would recommend this hotel for those who want to be away from the crowd, but still be 5-10 minutes away from town if wanting to explore the shops etc.

  Cosy, but a bit isolated

  Small and cosy hotel, but it is a bit isolated. The hotel gardens are quite nice, and also the pool area is nice and clean. There was no staff at the pool though, and if we wanted anything (drinks or food) we either had to walk to the restaurant (not far, so no big deal) or we had to use the phone in the "pool-reception." The phone has speed-dial, but the writing is so bleached that we had to make three calls to get it right (of course the kitchen couldn't take our order, we had to call again to get to the restaurant)... Our room was clean and of good size, but the bathroom was a bit dark and had a strange burnt-smell. The restaurant was ok, but not much more. Ok selection at breakfast, but for lunch or dinner (the a la carte menu) they didn't have all the courses. The hotel has their own "shuttle-bus" (or car or minivan) that runs to the centre of Ubud four times a day. You can also book the "bus" for other times than what is scheduled. We took the "bus" (minivan) to the centre one night and when we were going home there was a car coming to get us, but it seemed the driver had no idea how many people he was picking up so we were several people having to wait for the car rto run severeal times to and from the hotel. But we did get back eventually. If you want a few days of complete relaxaition this hotel is quite ok. Just don't expect anything luxurios.
