  Neat bolthole

  needed a place to stay for a 3 day work assignment but with covid wanted to have a kitchen so I didn't need to eat out. Great position in Gloucester City centre, clean and spacious rooms, nicely furnished everything you need for a couple. Supermarkets and a decent chippy in easy walking distance, parking right outside the entrance. Did everything I wanted. Recommended.

  Thoughtful Touches

  I stayed here for a weekend as a keyworker. The apartments is situated in the city centre next to a car park which is free after 6pm until 8am and at weekends but the rest of the time don't forget to paid for a ticket for any car you use which was about £1.30 an hour. There is a great chip shop, The Abbey pub for great cocktails and the city centre shopping area all 5 minutes walk away. The owner Adrian is so helpful and sends you the codes to enter the security gates and the apartment as well as directions and other information about Gloucester. We stayed in apartment 4 which was upstairs. On entering the apartment the bathroom is on the left and has one of those amazing steam showers that has a seat, many level jets including foot level, steam, shower, radio and colour mood lighting. It was great and had easy instructions to use it. In the bathroom was also a round face mirror with a sink that had a cupboard underneath, an airing rack and a window that opens out onto the entering balcony so don't leave open for security reasons. In front of the entry door is the bedroom which has a standard comfortable double bed with a wall unit that has different size shelving, a hanging space and a pull down shutter to cover everything in it. There was also 1 bedside table with a lamp on, towels on the bed with chocolates, a full length mirror, a digital radiator, a 4 plug extension socket and a window that has a view of the car parking and the back of Gloucester cathedral. On the right as you enter was an airing cupboard which had the iron and ironing board in, the boiler and dustpan & brush. Next to the cupboard was the combined kitchen and living room. In there was a 3 persons settee, a lamp, a 4 seater dining table with an information folder on it, a tower fan, a flat-screen TV on a double shelved cupboard which had Netflix and the same view as the bedroom. The L-shaped fitted kitchen corner had everything you need for kitchen use, including thoughtful things like a first-aid kit, hand sanitizer, cleaning products, washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven, fire extinguisher, fire blanket, fridge with a single freezer section and different recycling bins. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed staying here.
