  Comfortable and welcoming

  An easy drive from Ponta Delgada, the self-catering cabins were very comfortable and well-equipped with views over the sea, and set in a lovely garden. Rui and Catarina were most helpful and left a small basket of food to get us started. The nearby road was quite busy and turning out of the drive - in either direction - was a bit worrying because of a blind bend. It was a bit out of town: about one and a half kilometres to walk (if you wanted to have a drink) and it was all uphill coming back. Don't let details like that put you off - it was a great place to start our holiday and we would highly recommend it!

  Pretty and comfortable place to stay

  Pretty and comfortable place to stay: We recently stayed here for one night. The staff were friendly, the cabin was comfortable, the grounds attractive and the food hamper they put out for us was great for breakfast. All in all it's a place I'd recommend.

  Comfortable and well-equipped cabin

  Very helpful staff. Beautiful garden and sea view. It's a pity that one absolutely needs a car. Missed footpaths, and it was quite a challenge on a bike, hill down, hill up on a busy road. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay.

  Great place!

  This is a great place with helpful staff. Located in a garden with several ducks walking around. Very nice! We were expecting some noise from the road, which it was, but its was not a big problem. A place we could go back to.

  Nice! :)

  Hi, we stay at "quinta dos curubas" for 4 nights, the hut is very pleasent, fully equipped, located very well in a great ocean-view (a few minutes drive from it). The service is also very good and every morning you'll get a cute ducks visit ;) Only cleaning issue should be better.
