  Lovely place

  Lovely quinta full of character. Very friendly staff, the lady of the house was very welcoming and warm. Beds were comfortable, fresh bread, jam, juice, cake and coffee for breakfast, what more can you possibly wish for. We stayed for one night, but would certainly come back for more. I loved the place.

  B&B

  We stayed there last week, really nice building goes back 1000 years , really nicely done, great little pool, really nice rooms, only 5 mins from Tomar , Castle, Convent etc. Only 25 mins from the amazing Blue Lake area . Only downfall no TV if your staying longer than a night or so .

  Like living in a farm

  Nice location only 4 kms from downtown Tomar, cosy and comfortable, nice rooms and very friendly owners/staff. Close to icon monument of Tomar, Convento de Cristo. Very clean and practical apartments, strong internet signal and very nice common areas.

  Historic B&B Villa in a historic area of Portugal

  10 minutes out of the town of Tomar in the countryside, surrounded by wine grape vines, with hosts that make you at home. Delightful breakfast included, as it is a B&B. The area is an UNESCO site with the convent of the Knights of Templar a few miles away. The Villa is rich in history as well, still owned by family of prominent persons in the areas early history. Ask if Bernardo would be available as a guide for a tour of the convent. He is one of the family, and has vast knowledge of the history of the area and Portugal. He charges for this service, and is well worth it.

  Exceptional Place

  The history of this B&B should be enough that everyone would want to stay here, but on top of that the hospitality is world class. We stayed in the main building and it was grand. We awoke to vineyard views and the serene countryside. Breakfast was awesome, and so good. They have fresh bread every day, along with an assortment of breakfast foods. If you can, walk the property, and ask about the history of the place. It turns out the place is loaded with history. A short drive from town, it is quiet, serene, and delightful. Also, ask if Bernardo is available for a tour. He has in-depth knowledge of the castle an is quiet entertaining. Well worth the effort if you can get him.
