  Great stay

  Excellent location right in centre, free parking, very fresh looking inside, has been renovated to a clean and modern standard. Only negative was the squeaking floor, very friendly staff would definitely stay again.

  Newly renovated good location

  Very happy with our stay at the Quest. A charming 1940 art deco building obviously renovated reasonable recently. Tidy modern rooms with good kitchen facilities in-room. Handy spot in Invercargill to cbd and airport

  Very good

  Overall our stay here was very good and the room was good value for money. It was full of light from huge windows in an over height ceilinged room. Everything was very good with some exceptions. I wish they had put in more sound insulation when they converted this building to a hotel. You will hear flushing toilets, heat pumps and other noises. Also, when will hotels learn that if you put a fridge in a room, a very important factor is it needs to be quiet!! We also struggled with check-in as it closes at 4pm (which I would have though was the hotel's busiest time) and no-one answered the intercom. But the room was a good size and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again but maybe bring my earplugs.

  A good night in Invercargill

  Very pleasant man checked us in and a different and very pleasant man checked us out the following morning. Room and bathroom clean and very adequate, bed comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were much appreciated. There's a pizza place a couple of minutes away - hotel has no restaurant.

  Nice Tidy Stay

  The Quest has a good location just at the end of one of Invercargill's main streets making all the CBD within easy walking distance and also nearby is a large Pak n Save for groceries. The apartments are nicely furnished with all the usual amenities and have good comfy beds. Free parking is offered in an adjacent lot next to the hotel with overflow out on the street surrounding the property. Staff were very helpful and overall I would definitely stay here again if back in Invercargill.
