  QUEST STAY

  Very good - clean, friendly staff, nice roos, great own kitchen facilities, bed pretty good, nice bathroom and amemities. No pool but it was cold. Close to town and racing. All seemed to work in room/hotel.

  Wonderful location, friendly staff

  We stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend and were very happy with our choice. We were in a One Bedroom Apartment and it was incredibly spacious, so much room in the lounge/dining area. We didn't really utilise the kitchen facilities but all the essentials were there should we have needed them. Location is perfect - a short walk to all the restaurants/bars in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

  Great location to stay when visiting Ballarat

  Booked an studio apartment at Quest. Great room, spacious and very clean and quiet. Will certainly stay there again. The location is great to explore the centre of Ballarat and the restaurant area in Armstrong st

  Disappointing experience

  1. We booked a studio room through one of the online booking sites. It was nowhere mentioned in the description that there will be a common door between 2 studio apartments. There was no privacy as we could hear everything from the adjoining room and it caused us huge inconvenience, we couldnt rest because people in the other room were playing music and making noises. 2. The AC in the room was not effective at all, probably the room required a bigger AC. Also, the AC made some strange noise throughout our stay which didnt let us sleep peacefully. 3. The apartment was not cleaned properly. I took out a plate from the cupboard and it was completely covered in dust. Overall it was quite disappointing as we chose Quest because of its reputation. We will never recommend anyone to chose this property in Ballarat.

  Disappointing experience

  1. Privacy issue - We booked a studio apartment through one of the online booking sites. It was nowhere mentioned in the description that there will be a common door between two studio apartments. We could clearly hear everything from the adjoining room. It caused us huge inconvenience as we could sleep because people in the other room were playing loud music and making noises. 2. Ineffective Aircon - The AC in the room was not effective, probably the room needed a bigger AC. It also made strange noises throughout which didnt let us have sound sleep. 3. Cleanliness - The room was not properly cleaned. I took out a plate from the cupboard and it was completely covered in dust. We booked Quest because of its reputation but it was highly disappointing. It did not justify the price that we paid. Apart from the location there was nothing worthy about this property and I would not recommend anyone to book this property.
