  Great value for money, very attentive

  This nice, family owned hotel is close to the lake, quiet, great breakfast, wellness facilities and a good price. I think that`s fairly much. Stayed there only for one night but will definitely come back.

  Good value hotel on Tegernsee

  Quellenhof is a small family run hotel within walking distance from lake Tegernsee. It's located in a residential area with some restaurants within walking distance. It may be a bit off the center of Bad Wiessee, but since the vast majority of guests here will come by car, it's not much of an issue. The hotel is clean, rooms are nice, of good size and adequately furnished. Breakfast is ok and staff are friendly and helpful. W-LAN is free, but spotty and slow. So if you are here by car and looking for an affordable and decent hotel, Quellenhof is a good choice. If you are looking for something special, this probably isn't your place.

  NEIN, NEIN to the hotel quellenhof

  We have been traveling to Europe for over 45 years and have never endured a hotel with such poor customer service and greed. This hotel has been a thorn in my side since booking it on booking.com last July 2015. Having used booking.com for years with free cancellation , I was unprepared for the fact that the quellenhof does not let you cancel or change a reservation with out immediately extracting a fee of 50 euros. When I changed my dates by only 2 days, they tried to charge me 50 euros but booking.com resolved that fee for me. The hotel obviously most times is not fully booked due to its poor customer service and excessive fees. The night before my arrival they were having a fire sale to get rid of their rooms for my date. I was charged the sum of $150 for a standard room that was the rate charged the night before for a comfort room. They would not give us an upgrade to the comfort room which was the same dollars paid for the standard room. We could not check in early even though there were free rooms and told to walk about in the rain till 2 pm exactly. The standard room was on the third floor (no lift) with a slanted beam across the room to hit your head on. The bathroom was the size of a closet. The Standard room had no coffee maker and you cannot get coffee in the hotel prior to breakfast at 8AM. toiletries are not replenished daily and u get one tiny bar of soap for the sink and bath for 2 days. After 6pm each night the hotel desk is unmanned so if u have a problem u have to call a posted number and hope someone answers. During the rest of the day, the chief or owner hides in a corner of the reception room to avoid customer contact. Use a credit card to pay your bill and U are charged 3.50 percent. Every dime for the quellenhof family. There is no compromise. So bottom line, choose wisely and know that there are many wonderful hotels to stay in in bad wiesssee.

  Good value

  This was my second stay in the past 3 years and I was happy on both occasions. The hotel is situated close to the centre as well as close to lake Tegernsee, so there are plenty of opportunities for a walk. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, it offers a lovely breakfast. It is spotless and provides good facilities - a pool with a relaxation area, sauna, solarium, and even a little gym with good enough machines. If you crave a drink, and don't want to go out, in addition to a mini bar, you can also purchase a bottle of good wine (and other types of alcohol or soft drinks) in the hotel. The hotel surrounding is very quiet. I had a lovely corner room with a balcony where the sun was shining in all day long.

  Wonderful stay with my family

  the rooms were fantastic, the staff was super nice and friendly - going out of their way to help us find the places we were looking for. We couldn't have chosen a better place to make our headquarters while visiting all sights in the region i.e. all of King Ludwig's castles, Garmisch, Berchtesgaden, etc. etc.
