  Great hosts, amazing view and breakfast. Cash only..

  The two of us stayed here as a stopover for Berchtesgaden. The room we got had the best balcony/view of our two week trip through Europe. There are walking trails below the hotel, and walking to Bad Reichenhall is possible, but long. The room was large, but like most of Europe there is no AC. We did notice they turned off the electricity late at night, which probably had to do with solar power management. It was back on at 7:30 am, so plenty of time to charge a few devices before leaving. Breakfast was huge the next morning, and they actually serve eggs and bacon (which is a plus for Europe). Upon checking out, they suggested they were cash only, which wasn't entirely clear on booking site. Overall, very satisfied with stay, and would stay again in a heartbeat. Ultra nice family and un-beatable view.

  Booked a room for my auntis weeding.My family felt really comfortable. Big breakfast with local fresh food.Fried and scrambeld eggs will always fresh made. Amazing view from the balcony.Free WiFi.Family run place

  Loved this hotel

  My sister and I stayed here for a couple of nights whilst we visited Salzburg and Berchtesgaden. We arrived early and were given a room straight away, which was spacious and had a great bathroom and comfortable beds. As it was the end of the season, we were given a room with a balcony even though we'd only paid for a basic street-view room; this was a lovely touch and we really appreciated it when we were sitting out there looking at the beautiful scenery. The included breakfast was excellent - meats and cheese, fruit, yoghurt, with fresh orange juice and coffee, with bacon and eggs cooked however you wish. The absolute highlight, though, was the owner, Christian and his family - they were so helpful with recommendations, and very accommodating of our arrival and departure times. We'd certainly stay again, and will be recommending the pension to our friends.

  Fantastic place to stay!

  I stayed here for 2 nights in September and had a wonderful time. Christian was so welcoming, upgraded our room, offered us early check in and lots of information on Bad Reichenhall, Salzburg and Berchtesgaden. The room was very comfortable, with great views from the balcony and in a very quiet, pleasant location on the outside of the town. Breakfast was great, huge selection and fresh produce. I'd love to stay again!

  Warm Bavarian hospitality

  Run by lovely people and with a killer view of the mountains from room number 7. We had a good night's sleep and had a lovely breakfast of ham, cheese and a choice of eggs and crispy bacon. The roses were in full bloom in June and this just made our stay even more special.
