Queen Danang Hotel , 41 Nguyen Huu Tho Street, Danang

I recently stayed for 4 weeks at the Queen Danang Hotel. I have been travelling Vietnam for 20 years ( 39 trips ) and I have stayed in many hotels there. This year ( 2018 ) , I booked a VIP room at this hotel. What a wonderful experience it proved to be. The reception staff were welcoming, nothing was a problem, the room was large and comfortable ( 2 beds ). The cleaning staff performed their duties everyday with a smile and kept my room spotless. Breakfast ( included ) was as good as I have had in Vietnam. The view from my room was wonderful, looking to the mountains and over Danang airport. The proximity to markets, supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries and eating places was so convienent. It is located in the Hai Chau district ( which is largely a little away from the tourist area ), but cheap by taxi to those areas. I found the traders there, to the friendliest I have ever experienced in VN. The cost / night ( for a long stay) was sooo cheap. The hotel has a motorbike service attached to the hotel and I got around Danang cheaply and easily. Taxi's in Danang have always been so honest for as long as I can remember. The Senior Hotel Management ( Mr Quang --GM ) was of great help when needed. I rarely post about hotels on TA,( have been a VN poster since January 2006 ) but this Hotel is a real " Gem "---the best!!!! Go stay there, and experience it! plover.

    HOLE IN THE WALL

$25 bucks will get you a very basic room. Very little to no English. Breakfast was very basic, but pho was even bad by VN standards. It was ok for our transit purposes but dont expect anything of value staying here. I would suggest to move on and keep looking.

Feels cheap and rundown in every asect

We stayed at the Queen Hotel Da Nang the night before a flight. We were promised an airport shuttle service, that once on site turned out to not exist. We took a taxi/grab instead. Roo.s are very very si.e and rundown. Mattress dead, light is a simple neon bar. The shower drain was clogged and flooded the bathroom, the window did not close, etc Ok the place was not expensive, but I still felt sad and overcharged. Oh, and none of the staff seem to speak English.

    Out of comfort zone

We arrived late at night and had booked this to be as close to the airport as possible for an early morning flight. Just to sleep. Nothing to fault, really: you get what you pay for, but in this case we felt a bit out of our comfort zone and wish we had stayed the night in Hoi An and taken a really early taxi.

    Pretty Poor

Stayed here for one night as it was close to the airport and we had an early flight. Did not enjoy my stay. The staff were unfriendly and dont speak any english. The room we got was very run down. Bed sheets and bathroom dirty. Marked walls and very noisy. Ants crawling along the tables and was not told if we had to pay for any snacks or tea/coffee. The only plus side is it is close to the airport but im sure there are better hotels to stay at.
