  Simple, No Fuss Stay

  This hotel delivers exactly what it promises as an older building operating for many years in tourism country. The staff are friendly and very VERY helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. Dont come home too late or you may not find parking!

  Good stay

  Very good service from front desk on check-in. The room was a suite so it was nice and spacious. Bed and pillows were good. The wifi did not play well with my chromebook for some reason - turning the chromebook off and on would solve the connection problems. My husbands tablet worked fine. Room had fridge and microwave. The pool and hot tub were open by reservation. Parking was easy. You can feel the rumble when the trains go by but it did not bother us. We walked to downtown for dinner. Would stay again.

  Great night in cozy place

  Very spacious rooms, with microwave and coffee machine. Nice view on mountains. Fireplace in the room. Comfortable beds. And price that you cant beat. Highly recommend while in Canmore. There is also hot tub outside, make sure to book in advance, we were not able to get in due to limited capacity

  For the price is very good

  For the price is very nice the rooms Are big and the attention of the front desk is very nice, the parking lot is free, is a train passing by that can be annoying but for the price u pay is more up than downs

  Declining in Quality

  First time staying was great, zero complaints. Second time we were woken by an employee early in the morning who could not take a hint that we didn't need anything, so they decided it was best to let themselves in and walk into us in bed, horrible experience. When we complained we were just told to next time out our "Do Not Disturb" card on the door, which we didn't do last time and had no problems. Just stayed recently and was now woken up by a fire alarm, which was very scary. When we got to our room door to evacuate the alarm stopped, and no one was sure what do to. I called the front desk and asked if we still need to leave and was told it was maintenance testing if it worked. WE GOT ZERO WARNING ABOUT ANY TEST!! No on in the hotel obviously did. I thought that was a COMPLETE joke, if you are going to test your fire safety you MUST let your guests know, we have no idea what the hell is going on. As well... if you are staying on the forth floor be prepared to hear sounds as if your neighbours underneath you are basically running on their ceiling, so incredibly loud for some reason, really sounded like there were people above us stomping when we were on the top floor. Each time we come to this hotel to title of "Quality" in the name is unfortunately becoming less of a true statement.
