  Short Stay

  I needed a hotel in the area for a one-night stay, and selected this hotel due to it's proximity to the interstate and my destination. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk associate was very friendly. The room was what you would expect from a Quality Inn type of hotel. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The wifi was reasonably fast. I didn't try streaming any movies, but it worked fine for some online gaming and web browsing. The HVAC was what you expect in a hotel, and quieter than some I've stayed at. They normally don't open their hot breakfast until 06:30 on weekends, but it opened a half hour early when I stayed, which was appreciated since I needed to leave before 06:30. Altogether, I plan on staying at this hotel again in the future if I need a place to stay in the area.

  Lots of value for the money

  We choose this hotel every time we come to Des Moines. The rates are very reasonable, the place is clean and the breakfast is good. The beds are very comfortable, as well. Location is great as its very convenient to shopping, restaurants entertainment.

  Decent Place To Stay

  Stayed here for one night for a nearby event. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The HVAC unit was pretty quiet as far as hotel HVAC units go. There was little if any road noise audible in the room. The indoor pool is small, but a nice benefit if you have the time to make use of it. The hot breakfast is a nice plus, though it would be nice if there were a few more options for non-hot foods. For example, there was only one flavor of yogurt, and the only fruit available were apples. Checkin took longer than usual, but only because a very large family group was in line ahead of me. The in-room fridge was not set very cold at all, so for a single night stay, it's not terribly useful. Really the only downside is that this hotel is a bit on the expensive side for a Quality Inn. This is likely due to it's location near Adventureland. If I come back for the same event in the future, I will likely look for a different option in order to save a few dollars- I wasn't there for Adventureland, so have no need to be close to the theme park.

  Horrible hotel to stay in!

  Just stayed last night and will never stay there again. The sheets on both beds had some stains on them resembling blood and other bodily fluids (see pics below.) Mentioned it to the from desk lady and she brought up some new bedding promptly. She apologized profusely once she saw it as well. She said she would inform the owner and he would probably take some money off the room. Woke up this morning and they did not want to do anything about the horrible experience. And yes in the first pic, that is a part of someones bandaid on one of the new comforters they brought up to us. UNBELIEVABLE! Do yourselves a favor and spend a little bit more and sleep peacefully on clean sheets. Thanks for reading.

  Nice place to stay

  Nice Clean room and friendly staff. Stopped here as we traveled from Colorado back to Wisconsin. Lots of amenities nearby. Bed was comfortable and they had breakfast bags available in the morning. Making the best of the COVID situation. Would stay here again.
