Not to bad for the priceThe rooms are clean and a good size but they should really invest in some paint. The toilet in our room ran from checkin to check out and has a leak on the tank. The tub is chipped from where the handle falls off in the shower. Bit in a pinch when traveling I've had worse hotel rooms.

At least the bed was comfortable...Stayed here for 2 nights on business. Checked in late the first night with no issues. Once we got to the room, it was very hot (Texas with 97 degree temps). Figured it was because the AC was on 75 and no one had been in the room. Went to take a shower and there's nothing like stand in water over your ankles while showering (and I don't take long showers!). Went ahead and got ready for bed (feeling cooler from the shower) and tried to connect to the WiFi. Well it doesn't do any good to have WiFi if it's not connected to the internet! Finally fell asleep and when we awoke at 5AM, it was barely comfortable in the room (around 75 with the AC set to 60). Complained to the front desk on our way out and requested a room change for our second night. We did get another room. AC worked MUCH better, but still had to stand ankle deep in our own dirty shower water and still no internet connection. Like I said, the beds were comfortable so there's that.

Generally clean & comfortableAs with most Quality Inns, this one is typical and standard for the most part. This one is located just on the edge of town with pleanty of nearby restaurants. Rooms are a little larger than most Quality Inns and have inside access and was generally clean and comfortable. Microwave and fridge in room. This hotel was very quiet. They have an indoor swimming pool. The breakfast was the standard breakfast. Staff very friendly and cordial. Plenty of parking in front and on side of hotel.

Quality inn lacking qualityWe made reservations and stopped at the motel for a quick overnight on the way to Galveston for a cruise. We got 2 rooms. 1 of them was ok.(131) It was clean, not sparkling but clean. The problem with that room was the entry door was hard to bolt closed unless you played with the door and the security chain was damaged . The second room was another story we were initially placed in room 129, it had no smoke alarm, just wires where it should be. The chain lock was damaged and the grab bar in the tub was loose to the point the blue anchor Holding it to the wall was almost falling out of the wall. And the door looked as it had been kicked in. We were moved to room 125, this room had a door lock strike plate that was literally falling off the door frame and had no chain lock on the door and the door frame was cracked as it had been kicked in. Thirdly we were moved to 225 this room was serviceable, even tho the chain lock was loose, there was mold in the bathroom. All thru this the man that checked us in was great, we got new rooms each time we asked, the other staff members we spoke to (front desk at checkout and a maid) were apathetic to the concerns that were found in the rooms and did not show any concern. In addition room 129, the one without the smoke alarm, our in laws suspected that that room was rented out after we declined the room and notified them of the issue because they heard noise and the tv later that night. This quality inn was under remodel at the time of our stay but most of the concerns were fire safety or security concerns that should of made some of the rooms not able to be safely rented.

Great staffRooms were large, staff was friendly. Pet friendly which is a huge plus for us, with a large area to walk your dog. We stayed with in this location for a month and a half and never had a problem. The management team and desk staff always greeted us with a smile and were always ready to help.
