  Overnight stay - close to river for kayaking

  I spent one night last week in your hotel and it was a very pleasant experience. The people at the front desk were accommodating, the room quiet and clean, plenty of food available for breakfast. I couldn't ask for more for a one night stay. In the past, I have stayed in many Choice hotels and will continue to look to stay at them in future because my experience has always been positive.   Small but adequate room

  The room was clean, fresh, cool, and adequate. All amenities were available. Bed was comfortable. There was a valet cart to wheel our things to the room. the room was a long way from the car and elevator. Noise level was low even though there were a lot of people in town for a funeral and construction workers too. Breakfast was a bit sparse on variety but adequate. we left refreshed for the day.

  Property fine; shady room change

  If you're wondering if this property is suitable I'll answer that right off the bat, yes. It's convenient and reasonably priced (compared to Ithaca). Things I noticed that will likely preclude my stay there again follow (in no particular order): 1. I booked the Double Suite that sleeps 6. I called ahead to confirm a 9pm arrival (we were in Ithaca 45 min away). They said we were all set. When we arrived at 9, we were checked in to a King Suite (sleeps 4). I said there must be a mistake. She told me no, that is what I reserved. I logged in to my account to find that my original reservation had been cancelled. She said no it couldn't have been cancelled. I agreed bc I know I hadn't done it, but proceeded to show her my screen which said CANCELLED. She and another worker behind the counter began speaking in another language and she quickly shifted gears. "It's no problem, no problem." I'll switch you to the other room, as if she was doing me a favor. Strange, esp since the original higher price for what I HAD reserved was the same for what they had changed it to, which should have been lower. 2. There was a side door that was supposed to be accessible by guests with a key only. The door didn't even lock. It didn't even have a place in the door jam for the lock to turn. 3. This property allows dogs in some rooms, to which I'm accustomed. What I'm not accustomed to is dogs in the dining room/breakfast area. I asked the a.m. clerk about it and she said she wasn't sure if dogs could be there or not. She had never been told, but would ask. Not sanitary!

  Great Hotel

  No complaints. Ive been here for 2 weeks and this hotel has good WiFi, the complimentary breakfast was always out early, and the room service was good. The rooms felt a little outdated but had a pleasant stay

  Nice Place to stay in town

  Good staff, great service. Reasonable price, comfortable beds and clean room. Descent hot breakfast. Good view of Susquehanna river. Recommend to get a room on river side with balcony on second floor.
