  Clean hotel, close to fairgrounds for a convenient stay

  My girlfriends and I go to the Great NY State Fair each year, and this year decided to stay over in Syracuse. We found this place at a decent price. We did stay in a 2 x Double Bed room. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The washroom was clean and there was plenty of toiletries. We did have to call down for extra towels, as we were 4 girls. We do think that when we go back next year, we will try to get a room with 2 queen beds. We did not spend time at the pool, but it was open. We could see it from our room, and it looked clean and well kept. There was plenty of parking and there was no fee to park. The front desk staff was pleasant. When we were unable to get the food we wanted at the fair, they told us about the restaurant in town. The continental breakfast was very simple. It was fairly fresh, we watched them bring out fresh batches often. There were plenty of tables and room for all the patrons. The best part of the stay was that there was a free shuttle to and from the fair. The shuttle driver was absolutely wonderful. He worked super hard to get everyone to and from the fair quickly and get back to take the next round. I will definitely stay here again!

  Find Another Place - Room filled with bugs and filthy

  What an awful place. The room had bugs crawling around and had not been cleaned. We could not stay with our kids and left. The operator refused to refund our payment even though staff acknowledged the room was unacceptable.

  Best part the lobby attendant John!

  Pros: John at the lobby counter was SO SO SO NICE! He deserves a raise for being so accommodating! My family and I went there on Christmas morning to celebrate for the kids. John let us take the kitchen tree into the room for the kids! So so nice, and even got upgraded! The kitchen had utensils for us to use for food we brought; very helpful. Bed was comfortable, per the kids. Cons: The hotel needs a dehumidifier for mold, thats all I could smell. The carpets smelled like it, and the microwave in the room was VERY outdated. Need a newer luggage cart as well.

  Great Stay

  I travel extensively for business, and they let me have the same suite the next week I was there. The room was clean and fresh smelling, the staff were courteous and observed mask precautions. Dunkin Donuts was down the street.

  I travel a lot for business. This hotel now rates up there for one of the best values I've ever stayed in. The staff was very friendly. My room was clean and well appointed. I'll be using this hotel in the future every time I'm in the Syracuse area
