  Excellent Service

  I would like to express my gratitude during my pleasant stay in your property. The service received by Mr. Doug was very hospitable, he never hesitate in helping me, even though the barrier of language (Spanish). People like him would be continue be hired by your company. He was very sweet to make us understand each other. I reported a situation in our bathroom, and he responded with a note in Spanish to let us know it was fixed by Eng Dept. That was sweet from Doug. Also I would like to mention the Housekeeping service was excellent, always very clean. I certainly recommend your property.

  Staff doesn't wear masks

  This was my first work trip since March. I was comforted by the fact that Elkhart County (where this hotel is located) is under a mandatory mask mandate. When I arrived at the hotel, the woman behind the desk was not wearing a mask. When I inquired, I was told she didn't have to as long as she was 6 feet away. After checking with the county health department, this is incorrect. As a business, all staffers are required to wear masks. I have seen at least 3 other staff members not wearing masks, while passing them in the hallway. Obviously, a 6 foot distance can't be maintained, even if this was a correct reading of the mandate. Otherwise, this hotel is a typical 2.5 star hotel. They have done renovations and the beds are more comfortable, and bathrooms have been updated. Original tubs and low water pressure, especially on second floor. The love seats in each room are totally worn out and you sink very low into them. Please wear masks!!

  COVID & Bedbugs

  We spent 3 nights in this hotel. While the hallways and rooms appeared to be very clean, we believe we were bitten by bedbugs (welts appeared after returning home). We were also upset that the front desk attendant was wearing a face mask below her nose and no one was wearing masks in public areas like the lounge and hallways. (We did not use the breakfast service, so we cannot speak for mask use in that setting.

  I canceled a refundable reservation and didn't receive the refund and the hotel don't answer my requests

  I made a refundable reservation, for which I was charged 176,4 USD on my credit card on June 28, 2020. I canceled the reservation one month ago, on November 3, but didn't receive the refund. I sent some messages to the hotel through booking but they did never reply to me. I need this refund to be done asap.

  Bedbugs

  Horrible place to stay. Hotel has bed bugs. They didn't seem to care either. Hotel is supposed to be smoke free but you could smell cigarette and weed just walking down the hallways. Pool was small and hot tub was not hot at all. We didn't even stay the whole night once we realized the bed bugs. Only good thing I can say is they refunded my money.
