  OK for a Night

  A welcome stop after a long day on the road. Beds were comfy, heat worked on a snowy night. Breakfast was so so. A bit of a challenge to get to off of I-69 -- trust your GPS! Good staff at evening reception.

  Just what we needed

  My husband & I stayed one night during a super hot stretch when our power went out. Rather than suffer with no AC or fans, we drove the short distance to the hotel. There we got to enjoy a clean, cool room with a comfy king bed, cable tv (hey, we don't have tv anymore so it was a nice feature for us), a shower, electricity - basically everything we didn't have at home. No breakfast in the a.m due to virus concerns, but our rate for the room reflected that. The hotel isn't far from a few fast food options, or you can drive into Angola for a lot more choices. We had a very nice stay!

  Last minute stop...

  Traveling east on I80 and needed a stop for the night. This was easy on and off of I80. The staff was pleasant and rooms were clean. We had a first floor room next to the front parking lot. Noise was not a problem. I would consider this as a stop again if needed. If you are traveling during the COVID crisis -- They were very well prepared with hand sanitizers around, staff wore masks, plastic covering front desk, rooms clean.

  Great place to stay

  We typically stay at the sister Choice Hotel, the Comfort Inn, next door, but when booking our stay this time, I didn't pay attention and booked this hotel instead. I realized my mistake when we pulled up, but I am glad we selected this hotel. The lobby was bright, modern and welcoming. Under better circumstances, the lobby would be a great place to hang out. The breakfast area also looked nice. Unfortunately, Covid has shut breakfast down. The front desk personnel were friendly and professional. They were able to meet our request of a first-floor room which I had requested on the app booking page. The woman who checked us in explained that a breakfast grab-and-go bag would be available in the morning, along with coffee. Our room was gleaming clean and smelled clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and even though we were close to the highway, we couldn't hear it at night. We slept well and woke refreshed to pick up our breakfast bags. Inside was a selection of goodies to get us going, which was much appreciated. We would definitely book this Quality Inn on purpose next time.

  Low point of road trip stops

  Typical Quality Inn, no frills basic room, but many of the smalls things made this stop a bit less than average. Far from the cleanest or the brightest stop along our trip. Convenient location right off I-80, however there's nothing nearby. There's a few fast food options as well as truck stops a little more than a mile up the road. Other than the location, not much positive about this stop or the hotel itself. No breakfast offered due to Covid, no grab bags to go, not offered any options. This was the ONLY stop on a long road trip that offered no options for breakfast (which also included another stop in Indiana). We ate breakfast at the truck stop about two miles up the road. Would not stay here again, considering this was the highest rated hotel in Fremont, IN, we would look to stop further up the road on any future roadtrip passing through this area.
