    Old, worn out, tired

No elevator!! two old people lugging suitcases and gear up stairs. Musty room with barely functioning a/c. Room facing highway and noise. Checking the door jamb, some of the weatherstripping is missing letting the noise in. Ran out of hot water! Not cold but turned lukewarm. Awful analog TV with bad reception. The cabinet with the microwave had the veneer peeling off. Funny-looking patch in the shower wall. This is one tired motel. Not worth $80.44

    Unprofessional Manager/unfriendly staff

Worst stay that I have ever had from a choice hotel. It started with the manager telling me that she was not honoring my reservation because my husband made it for me and we do not share that last name. After me showing Her a picture of his ID that I happen to have she honored it. Never had an issue before and if she as so concerned just call the number in his choice hotel account, but that effort was never made. I had also asked her that he only reserved till Thursday and I needed the room till Friday. She explained that she could not reserve it and that I needed to come back Wednesday (again does not make sense) We were in our room for about 5 minutes and we noticed the toilet would not flush and when trying to call up to front desk phone in room did not work either. They did move my room to a non handicap room which I guess we were in and the first night was rough with sleep. They have a bunch of line men staying there and they stayed up till 2-3am drinking outside their rooms. When we went to leave the next morning on our adventures there was beer cans EVERYWHERE!!!! I did not complain about the lack of sleep or the mess outside my door. After our activities which was my son, I and his friend as well as a group of friends I met up here who were staying in a cabin on Swannee River we came back to my hotel because we going to have dinner at beef o Bradys. I had arrived at my room and my room had been cleaned but not towels or wash clothes were left. I called again to the from and asked for our towels and asked if we could have two extra so my friend two children could shower. I guess thats when I had asked for to much. After waiting almost 30 minutes I walked to the front at which I guess the front desk lady was walking to my room (with no towels and to yell at me) when she came back to the front where I was waiting she said we are going to have to ask you and your guest to leave and than handed her phone to me which was the manager ANGIE again telling me she was nice enough to let me stay with my two kids which the reservation I had made and that it was not suppose to be for 6 guests. And I explained very calmly that I do not appreciate her threatening me and that my friends are not staying here. It just escalated to room service was never in my room, calling me a liar many times, indirectly accusing me of stealing towels. Ive never been treated like such scum for having done nothing wrong. She told me if I wanted to stay my friends needed to leave immediately. (Since when cant you have guest in your hotel room?) Given the fact that I am with two children and myself I zipped my mouth and just said Ill ask them to leave so me my son and his friend were only ripped off but had no where to sleep either. From there towels every single day was an issue, all I kept hearing was the line guys this and the line guys that. On Wednesday I decided I really didnt wanna drive to Gainesville and Id still try to reserve my last night. The lady at the window like I was 12 told me I could not I needed to talk to Angie first. I said fine. She said well she will be in tomorrow at 7:30 and I said but there are rooms Available now and she said Im sorry thats what she said. I than didnt even want the room and reserved a room in Gainesville at comfort inn and than checked out the next morning. When Checking our Angie was there and offered an apology on miscommunications we were hvIng and thT as of today they are booked and then had more words on my friend leaving a bad review about her. Again calling me a liar about towels and the list goes on She does not belong in management. She honestly need to leave about hospitality and I will keep leaving reviews about this establishment as well as her till someone reached out to me from corporate in regards to having a very unfair and disrespectful stay at this hotel

Great staff, great response to covide-19

The front desk staff (ive met two of them) are always friendly and helpful. Maintenance came after hours to help fix an ac issue and was very helpful, prompt and nice. no breakfast due to covid but i dont mind because i feel it helps keep everyone safe! they have sanitizers and minis to give you at the office.

This was one of our only choices, since there were not many options in near Trenton. We'll just be driving farther next time, because we still had to be up early because of the malfunctioning smoke detector that began loudly beeping in the middle of the night. We sucked up the fact that the room was filthy, but this experience made it pointless to stay any closer to our morning destination since we ended up being up extremely early anyway, due to the disturbing noise. We thought we'd be fine in the morning as we were leaving, but the cockroach in the bathroom ensured that was not the case. We will not return here. As full-time travelers, it is unlikely that we will stay at Choice Hotels again any time soon.

    Nice hotel and nice staff

We were in town to visit family for Christmas and the location was just right. Angie at the front desk was awesome and we appreciate her kindness. The rooms were clean and they did a good job mainting things under the unfortunate situation China has put our great country in.
