Hockey TournamentEasy check in. Polite and friendly staff. Hotel was a bit dated but clean. Suited what we needed. First night was little loud with parents partying in the hallway. Great common area with plenty of seating for large groups to socialize away from hallway.

Exceeded my expectationsI heard this hotel was previously the Riverside. Im not familiar with the Quality Inn brand and so I was prepared for some service gaps etc. All parts of my stay were better than I expected. Staff are great; my room was clean and had a nice river view that Im sure would have been pretty in the daylight. It looks like it would be fun in the summer. Overall Id say go here f youre in the area.

Poor run down hotelThis hotel is really poor. The rooms are extremely dated and the air conditioner rattles like an old fridge. I wasnt impressed with the restaurant either. Painfully slow service and poor attitude from the staff.

Weekend away from home - Figure Skating CompetitionWe were up in Bracebridge for the Winter Whirl Figure Skating competition, and the club had reserved some rooms for all the skaters and their families at the Quality Inn. Unfortunately, by the time I confirmed our booking, the hotel was almost full ( they told me at the time of my call that only two rooms were left). Having not much of a choice left, I reserved the room: we got the king suite with a jacuzzi tub. Although we paid premium price for the room, which I found to be really high for this type of hotel, I absolutely loved it. The sitting area had a pull-out couch which my teenage son slept on. In from of the couch was a beautiful gas fireplace, which was great for relaxing and watching TV after a cold and busy day. In the bedroom area was a jacuzzi tub, big enough for two, a king-size bed, and a small kitchenette area with a microwave and a small fridge. The hotel is situated right on the banks of the Muskoka River, so the views from my room were very tranquil and relaxing. In the basement was a bowling alley, games room, fitness room, sauna and swimming pool and hot tub. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and some of the upgrades were really nice. The hallways had a fresh and pleasant smell, unlike the musky smell that is typical at some quality Inns. The customer service we received was really good, I am actually considering returning in the summer and staying in the exact same room.

OkayAll was good, no complaints, room very clean and all the amenities one needs. Overpriced for sure but I guess you are paying for the location. Lack of an elevator is difficult for older and those disabilities, so ask for ground floor ..... a room with a river view is about 10 bucks more, which after paying $160 for a view of the noisy parking lot, isn't a bad investment, especially if staying a couple of days.
