  Please be aware

  Our room was clean and we can not complain about that. The morning breakfast was sufficient. We cancelled our second night of staying here due to a major issue. While we were out for a couple hours, someone had gone through our things. My daughters luggage was all messed up, my folded clothes were unfolded and tossed in another location, my medicine/make up bag was gone through. Two of my daughters American Eagle bathing suits, an American Eagle shirt, and a sports bra disappeared. I will say that the housekeeping manager was very apologetic about it and even offered to pay for her bathing suit. We would never expect that of him. He did question the housekeeping staff and told us they did not disturb anything. Like they would come out and say "yes I stole those items and went through their stuff." I will say that there are many people who would have access to the rooms so it could be anyone. Also, we realized on two different occasions that the door did not latch well so it could have been a door issue. Whatever the cause of our items being disturbed and stolen, we felt very uncomfortable and violated. We were not charged for the second night and I greatly appreciate that. As I finish this review, I am very saddened to say that my daughter has realized several more of her clothing items are gone. I feel so bad for her because she has worked hard to buy some of those items. If you stay in room 204, make sure the door latches well and take your important items to the car. We are praying someone comes forward and I will update my review.

  Nice place

  Easy in, easy out from I-86. Very quick check in. Room easy to find, with elevators at both ends of corridor. Room was spacious, bed very comfy. Really liked the oversized pillows. Noise from very busy I -86 was non exisent, as well as from other rooms. Pleanty of hot water. Ventilation system built into wall, very quiet, although a bit difficult to get regulated to personal tastes. Standard Choice Hotels breakfast fare, very good morning meal. Very tasty. Decaf coffee, eh. Check out was just a quick. Would definitely stay again, when in the Elmira area.

  Quiet, comfortable room

  I stayed at this Quality Inn recently when traveling to Big Flats. I was very pleasantly surprised. My room was very clean and very comfortable, and extremely quiet. There was no traffic noise, or noise from other guests. The check-in and check-out were painless and the staff were friendly. The included breakfast was fine, with both hot and cold items. There are many chain restaurants in the area of the hotel, and readily accessible shopping areas nearby. I will stay here again when in the area.

  In town fior family members funeral

  The rooms and location are great. Clean and beds comfortable. The only issue we had is I booked a pet friendly room of which we did not receive on check in. Luckly, my elderly mother took our 3 year old lab overnight. Upon check out I was told they do have pet frienly rooms and received an email about this very issue. Be sure if brining your pet they understand you need pet frienly.

  Best place to stay

  Stayed at a 3 star the night before and rated poorly to this hotel. It smelled good at the quality Inn. The rooms were clean and hospitality was excellent. We were given a healthy free breakfast and the location was great.
