Conference3 night stay while we attended a conference. Front desk staff was friendly. Check in was easy and hassle free. Our room was clean, beds are very comfortable, however this hotel is NOT accessibility at all. Another person in our group was giving a room with a pull out couch known she required a lift. Portable lifts will not fit under the beds. Pull out couch was fine except it had no button. The lady went right through onto the ground. Went to the front desk to ask for a new room. Was told there was rooms available however all the couches were in the same condition. This information was not provided at the time of booking. After about an hour we were able to figure out the room/couch situation on our own. The washrooms would not fit a wheel chair or a portable commode. This also prevented the person from using the shower. The rooms that were provided for the conference were extremely warm, the doors were unable to be propped open. The hallways smelled like stale smoke. There is no bar provided on the main floor where the conference rooms were. You have to go upstairs for drinks which are not accessible. The elevators do not go to all floors leaving you to walk a fair distance between each elevators. Was a huge inconvenience. Highly recommend this hotel become accessibly friendly.

This hotel needs a complete re-makeStayed here for a week as it was close to where I was meeting for work. Picked it due to the restaurant and lounge in it and the breakfast that was included. Well, to start with the restaurant and lounge were both closed due to Covid. I totally understand that this was not controlled by them but some warning when I booked would have been nice. Check in was fine. Not particularly friendly but perfectly professional. Unfortunately that was the last of the expectations that was met for this stay. The walk to my room was an eye opener. The hotel was in such bad shape. Walls, doors and floors all falling apart. Looks like no maintenance has been done on this hotel since it opened. I mean I have stayed at a lot of hotels over the years and have no problem with hotels like Super 8 and Motels 6 but this was ridiculous. I didn't want to touch anything. I was so worried getting to my room that my room itself would be as bad. Fortunately it wasn't. The room itself was OK. Not in particularly good condition but compared to everything else, it was OK. I went straight to the bed and took off the sheets and inspected the mattress. I was sure it would be stained and not sleepable. Well, of the two, the one was acceptable. The sheets were clean. The room was very warm and muggy, so I needed to turn on the air conditioner right away. It sounded like it would shake itself apart at any time but stayed together for my stay. The bathroom was OK expect for the shower. It was hard to describe. It actually looked like the shower and tub was a cheap looking grey plastic cover that went over the original tub and shower. The edges were all sealed with a thick layer of silicone that looked like it was applied by a 4 year old who was finger painting. I mean it was terrible. When I used it, there was such a gap in the new cover and what it was obviously covering, that every step I took in the shower felt like I was walking across a trampoline. It was very strange indeed. All I can say is lesson learned. This was my first stay at a Quality Inn and I have to say, don't think I will repeat the experience.

Clean and Convenient ... Breakfast Beware! As a stop over location, this Hotel is clean and convenient to the 401 as well as to the many local amenities. The front desk staff are pleasant, proficient and professional. Overall I have nothing but good things to say about this property. This is why I was so surprised, after them telling us about the 'awesome complimentary hot breakfast' offered the next morning, that we had the experience we did. Breakfast started at 5:30 which is wonderful for us early risers and the coffee was good and strong and the server was pleasant. But, by 6 am the food that came out on my plate tasted as though it was so old. I'm sure the breakfast sausage was from the previous morning. It was as slightly warm, at best, and so old and dried out. I couldn't even eat it! So horrible. Eggs ordered over easy also arrived way over cooked - brown on both sides, barely warm let alone hot and zero yoke left. Definitely a fried egg and nowhere near over easy. The fried tomato had sprouts growing out of the seeds (it was so old) and the toast was literally served as soggy bread. The baked beans looked like old dishwater and were more liquid than beans. The deep fried potatoes were ok. It makes me feel nauseated to repeat the experience! To be honest, I know things happen in the kitchen and normally have lots of patience and compassion but I would have been way to embarrassed to send my food back. I would have had to complain about the entire plate and I just didn't have the heart, the time or the opportunity as the server didn't come back to check. I just want to suggest that Quality Inn would be better off to offer their guests a simple, boring continental breakfast. Associating yourself with a restaurant of this low caliber might take away from everything else you strive for in your ratings. Nice big, clean rooms and pleasant professional staff but this is restaurant and it's hot breakfast is not a 'compliment' to your franchise!

Dissapointing New Years eveWe stay here on a regular basis. Booked the suite for New Years eve, you know, king bed, large room, Jaccuzi tub. Great rate, the motel is a bit outdated, the ice machine on second floor, oops they took tha one away a long time ago, down to first floor, sign says closed for cleaning, it hasnt worked since at least August. halfway across motel and finally a working ice machine. As the evening progressed we decided to fill the jacuzi tub, stopper doesn't fit so i get plastic wrap from motel glasses. Perfect, fill the tub, go to turn on dial to activate jets, no dial just the post. Maintenance brings up vice grips. Picture below. I turn on jets, maybe 3 of them work, hardly enough movement from the to ripple water. Jets run for less than 5 minutes and quit, now it doesnt work at all. Very dissapointed. Breakfast was ok.
