  Walking distance to Marketplatz

  This is my first time here and the hotel is convenient and clean with friendly welcome at the reception area. Quite fully booked at this time, clean room and comfort bed. The location is about 1km from the popular christmas winter market and walking is safe and easy to find the market place location.

  European Coating Show Hotel Option

  If you want to go to the European Coating show in Nuremberg in 2021 and all the hotels are already fully booked, this is a good alternative. It is a little bit far from Nuremberg, but is easy to reach by train and by car. Rooms are spacious, clean and functional. Breakfast is good and available from 06:30 onwards. Also, only short walking distance from multiple restaurants in Erlangen.

  Good value for a short stay but nothing special

  It had all the essentials and the reception staff were friendly and spoke perfect English to which was appreciated! I left my laptop charger cable and had to go back for it and it was ready and waiting at reception which was a big relief. The downsides were that I came during July so it was hot and there is no air conditioning in the rooms. The internet is infuriatingly slow and intermittent for this day and age and the amenities were pretty basic. The coffee/creamers were not topped up, I had to go and request more. Lastly, there was shouting and the sound of smashing bottles right outside my window late on the Sunday evening, although I don't think this is typical of the area, which felt very safe. The hotel is within walking distance of Erlangen town centre, which is a picturesque location (look for the little cafes with outside seating down the side streets) and has great public transport, although cycling seems a very popular option in the summer.

  Great breakfast, comfortable room, clean, and friendly, helpful staff

  We have stayed at Quality Hotels in the United States, but not in Europe. Our room was on two levels with access on two floors from outside. It was clean, comfortable, and was in a great location. The breakfast was amazing, the staff very helpful, and would stay there again...with the exception of asking for two beds rather than one king with a hide-a-bed for another adult. Our son tried to sleep on their portable bed and the slats kept falling through with the mattress falling to the floor. We had a good laugh about that one!

  Poor customer service

  Stayed in this hotel 3 years in a row. Because of corona virus scare our trade fair has been postponed till September. I was contacted by the hotels front desk that my request to reschedule my reservation had been declined. Although the hotel has the right, d/t its non-refund policy, not to reschedule my reservation the competition has already made exception due to those extraordinary circumstances. I am sure I am not the only one who is going to voice his/her displeasure about Quality Hotels attitude. There is this saying true customer services is recognized not when the things go right but when the things go wrong. Rest assured that my staff and I wont be staying at this property in September and anymore thereafter.
