  Nice hotel

  We stayed here for 2 nights and annoyed our stay. We had an ocean view 2 bedroom which was great. Beds were very comfortable, balcony was great, bathroom was clean. Buffet breakfast was good and they had good coffee. My only recommendation would be that because the restaurant is not open for dinner (only breakfast), they should offer dinner plates and cutlery in the rooms. Your only options are to go out for dinner or order takeaway. We ordered dinner delivered both nights but had to use our fingers and 2 teaspoons between us. Very nice hotel at a nice location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

  Stayed for one night in a front water view king room with balcony Very clean and friendly helpful staff at reception 24 hour reception good parking on site Has an on-site restaurant and a good breakfast area Would definitely stay here again

  Above and Beyond

  Great hotel! Very clean and super friendly staff. Very spacious, comfortable rooms! Thankyou again to Kevin, who went above and beyond when he didnt have to to make our stay absolutely 5 Star!! Will definitely stay here every time Im in Geelong, cant wait to get back!

  Out of Iso!

  Coming to Geelong out of Melbourne iso was very exciting & I absolutely love Geelong. Greeted well on arrival. Room was good, purchased beach front with balcony. Very clean but outdated furniture & not very appealing with ripped curtains. Whilst I enjoyed the balcony door opened to get fresh sea air into the room, I unfortunately couldn't enjoy it as patrons next door were smoking & it wafted in the room. Floors creaked, TV in bedroom was on a slant so had a sore neck watching it. Pool was closed due to covid which was understandable. What annoyed me the most & potentially a deal breaker for me. I contacted reception to see if I could get a later check out. I was told it would cost me per hour I wish to stay till. I have never, in either Australia or overseas been charged for a late checkout. You'd think they would be encouraging people after such a long sebatical so I found that very disappointing. No movie channels on TV, so just watch my Netflix on own phone. Enjoyable walk down esplanade to main beach also close to Westfield shopping centre. Upon checkout was not asked if I enjoyed my stay. Clearly didn't care. Not sure if I'd go back there again but definitely will visit Geelong again.

  Nice spot to unwind

  Stayed in Bayview superior room with king bed. Room was bright, clean and comfortable. Bathroom had been modernised. Two tired grubby chairs and ripped curtains let the room down tho. Right on the bay with beautiful views from a small balcony. Pleasant stroll on walking track to the city centre and easy access to Pakington Street shops, pubs, cafes, supermarket and more. Hotel is on the Esplanade which is the scenic route into the city and also a busy thoroughfare through the day - traffic noise may be a problem for some. Can also hear the neighbours next door. Check in easy, staff pleasant. Free parking available. Loved my stay and would recommend. Stayed room #66.
