  Decepcionante

  Claramente, me sentí levemente engañado por las fotos. El hotel o debería decir motel, está ubicado en Dickson. La zona no es fea ni linda pero no hay nada, esta lejos del centro y es necesario ir en auto. En cuanto al hotel, es básico y bastante feo. La habitación y las camas esta bien pero el baño es deplorable (por algo no lo mostraban en las fotos). La ducha es tan pedorra que me tenia que agachar para entrar al box. No entiendo como no tiene pileta en una ciudad tan calurosa como Canberra y mucho menos entiendo como llego a las 4 estrellas. En cuanto al bar, es simpático pero el tranvía que sería la atracción principal está cerrado y nose puede entrar. El wifi es regular. A destacar, el estacionamiento gratis.

  Tradies Dickson Canberra

  Good sized room, comfortable beds, view from the window poor, number of available power points, disgusting! I had my laptop, we both had phones and the only available power point was in the bathroom! I recommend it because we always stay there for the underground parking and the convenience of the location. Do not be tempted to eat in the restaurant, the last time we ate there the food was very ordinary indeed.

  Repeat visit

  I visit Canberra two or three times a year and over the last five years, this has been by preferred stay. The location is very convenient, with lots of dining options an easy walk. Being part of the Tradies club, the restaurant is quite good too. Free parking and WiFi is a plus. The rooms are large and comfortable and with the plates, cutlery, kettle, microwave and toaster you can make your own little breakfast if you wish. There is a supermarket and other shops nearby, petrol, fast food and lots of amenities an easy walk. I'll continue to stay here in the future.

  Lacking in attention

  Paid for a premium room only to find it had a view of the back of a club. Every morning at eight we heard the sounds of garbage trucks and recycling trucks outside our window. Stayed four nights and the standard of cleaning declined each day until it was almost non-existent. The coffee machine didn't work and was replaced with another that didn't work. In any case, there were only three coffee pods for four days. Room was a good size but it was hard to find a power point that wasn't already committed. The hotel is tired and the service reflects this.

  Disappointing....

  As a long time Choice Hotels member we were very disappointed by this hotel. The room was ok although it needs the furniture updating (fridge was in a cupboard but the doors had come off the runners so it was difficult to open). We had a king room with a spa(did not want the spa but it was the only king room) and the shower was in the spa so the tub was slippery and you had to watch your step. The bed was just plain rock hard and staying 2 nights we were glad to be now home in our own bed. The Tradies club is a part of the complex so we went there for dinner and drinks but paid normal prices and not club member discounts as the check inn staff neglected to inform us that staying in the hotel you became members for 12 months. Overall not a great experience and will not stay again when we revisit Canberra.
