  We saw a ringtail possum!

  This hotel is a short drive from town with clean, spacious bedroom/dining and room service available. Communication with staff was easy with lots of information about Albany and its surrounds available. The bathroom/shower is small but useable. The highlight was being able to spot an endangered western ringtail possum on site which was very cute.

  Great place

  Our unit was perfect. Big bedroom. The large bathroom with excellent shower included a washing machine. Living area with dining area and kitchen was amble. Very clean. Breakfast was very good. Location is close to main street and shopping centre. Thoroughly recommended.

  Very pleasant.

  We had a very enjoyable stay here. Large bathroom with spa, large bedroom with very comfortable bed. Separate lounge/dining. Clean and quiet too. Breakfast is well worth having. Very helpful and friendly staff. Location is close to all the best bits of Albany. We would definitely stay here again.

  Great value, everything you need

  Stayed 9th - 11th of Jan. 3 bed, 2 bath (1 spa which we did not use). Even 2 car bays. Number 28 which is way at the back so no passing traffic at all, even can access via the side road which is easier. Fo a family wanting to stay a few nights or more it is great. Washing machine with drier very useful. Happy to recommend.

  Spacious apartments

  We stayed in a two bedroom apartment for three nights. It was advertised as having two queen beds but I think the bed in the master bedroom was a king. The beds are actual beds, not zip beds (which is a huge plus) although the king mattress was on a base made of two single beds. Still, it is hard to find accommodation where they do not use zip beds. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and well equipped. There is air-conditioning but it is only in the living area. Neither of the bedrooms are air-conditioned. But you can open the windows and the weather for our stay in early January was mild despite the furnace-like conditions in Perth at the time. If it had been very hot (which I don't believe is common in Albany), sleeping may have been uncomfortable. In the second bedroom, the back of the bed is flush against the wall underneath the window. So your pillows cohabit with the curtains. The installation of tie-backs would be welcome. The maximum occupancy of this apartment is four but the only furniture in the lounge area is a three seater couch. So if you had four people, you could not all sit in the lounge area together without using a dining chair. The couch also has a chaise on one side, which is nice if you wish to recline. But it may be difficult for older guests or those with mobility issues to get in and out. The apartment was very clean with a very large and comfortable bathroom. There is a second TV in the master bedroom. A combined washer/dryer is provided in the bathroom. I asked one of the staff members about the bus services but she claimed never to have been asked that question before and was not able to answer nor did she offer to ask anyone else and get back to me. This is a surprise as there is a bus stop right at the entrance to the complex and many people would consider the main street too far away (approx. 2km) to walk. But another staff member I spoke to the next day was more informative. Despite this, the staff were at all times extremely pleasant and very hospitable. The buffet breakfast offered on site is excellent value. They also offer room service from a local steakhouse which, while expensive, was a nice option after a long drive. Overall we were perfectly content and would certainly consider staying here if we are in Albany again.
