Little bit overpriced two star hotelHotel is located 19 kilometers from the center of Beijing. It is consists of couple of buldings. The food choice is very modest, and the price for room with a breakfast was for me, somewhere about 40 USD.The main problem is the distance from the center. Also, a very poor choice of TV channels, every channel is on chinese language, and they are very boring.Hotels lacks some center for rlaxation, like pool or gym.The staff of the hotel doesn't speak english language at all, so you must speak chinese language to communicate(fortunately I learned chinese language for a little while).

Cheap Alternative in the Wangjing - Lido AreaI've stayed at this hotel many times because I work in aviation, and have had multiple conferences here. This hotel is within, just inside the gates of, the Civil Aviation Management Institute campus. The location can be great or not, depending on your needs. It is a couple of blocks from the Holiday Inn Lido, probably the most popular hotel in this area, and there are a lot restaurants and shops near there. A block away the other way is the New World mall, with a large dept store and supermarket. There's also a Starbucks and a branch of the Bellagio restaurant chain there. Probably the biggest draw for this hotel is that it is the first/final stop of the Wangjing airport shuttle bus, making it very convenient if you're avoiding taxis (although it does make several stops in Wangjing so it can be slow to/from the airport). Then again, if you wanted to be in the city, about a 15-minute drive to CBD, you will probably have to take one anyway. The rooms are very average, neither small nor big. I've stayed in a room with two twins, the beds being pretty hard, and I've stayed in a room with a queen and a long sofa. Nothing remarkable about either. They are very plain, with basic amenities. There are three buildings which comprise the hotel with each being five or six floors. In building C there was a room on the ground floor that was supposed to be a cafe but it was closed during my most recent stay. There is a restaurant in building A, pretty standard Chinese selection. I've had rooms with and without bathtubs, and the ones I've had with a bathtub I found was unusable anyway--low, small, with rust stains. TV has no foreign channels. Internet is fairly quick and free. There is no complimentary bottled water, and the room fridge was either missing or empty. Overall, I wouldn't choose this hotel myself, but if you like the Lido area and don't want to pay a premium, this university hotel could be, at about $45 a night, a third of the cost of other ones around here, a bargain.
