very average hotel, overpriced, bad kayaking, noisy room
The hotel area is huge and beautiful. Breakfast included is ok, not great. Staff at the reception desk can not speak English, except one lady, but she speaks very good. In general, the room was ok but does not worth that money. And there was something (some device) very loud outside our room, we could barely sleep. Did not like the meal in the restaurant. We took kayak trip, but it was too short (less than a hour), at the end we had to go in the river barefoot on the sharp stones and something else under water till the place the car picks us up, rather disgusting.

No longer at its bestA great location next to the river located in spacious, well kept grounds. Child friendly with many statues in the grounds that would appeal to very young children. The rooms needed maintenance and were not suitable to spend time in during the evening due to lack of lighting. Needed a good facelift.Evening meal was fairly good although breakfast was abysmal. I had a massage at their health centre and would highly recommend that no visitor ever contemplates a massage at this place. Painful, lack of interest and lack of massage skills are not the words for it, I even screamed out Jesus Christ at one stage due to the intense pain. Even though the doors to the rooms faced an open court yard, they did not have locks so anybody could enter. The rooms also did not have a safe so I needed to carry my valuables with me at all times. The TVs in the rooms were of the very old CRT types and had very poor reception on the international channels although good reception on some of the Thai channels. The hotel offered free WiFi but this did not reach every room so there was a notice saying that they recommended going to the lobby to access the Internet.

Good sleep and massage, but pretty poor overallSituated in a pretty location, this resort has a massive pool and slides, good value thai massage on site and clean (though tired) rooms. Beyond this, however, there is little to like. Key things include: * Confusing navigation around the resort. * Really ordinary breakfast. * Kitsch kid-focussed items throughout the resort. * Significantly out of the way from anything around. In short, this place is not terrible, but I recommend trying somewhere else.

Nice hotel, really quiet!Nice hotel on the river Kwai. The room are basics but the complex propose a lot of activities and that's what make this place amazing. The restaurant is also really good and the breakfast alright. Big swimming pool.

Beautiful grounds however everything else was averageFirstly, the resort grounds were beautiful, located right on the river. The pool was large and well kept, with free towels and balls to play with. However there were very few pool chairs and tables surrounding the pool area. However, the wifi was questionable and definitely did not work throughout the property. The rooms were old and in need of a renovation. The buffet breakfast had a very limited selection of foods, and the lunch quality was average.
