  Dissapointing

  The unit we stayed in was showing a lot of wear and tear. A tradesman had to repair a faulty fridge, as reported by the previous tenants, the hanging rail in the cupboard had fallen off and needed to be refitted and the bed headboard had to be reattached to the wall. On our departure my husband requested if we could check out at 1030am, instead of 10am, and was told no. He then requested if we could leave our bags at reception until 1030am and was also told no. The best they could offer was for us to leave our car in the visitors car park at the front of the resort. We have stayed here many times, over several years, and keep coming back for the fantastic views and great location. This time, however, we were less than impressed

  Privacy Issue & Tired Unit 503

  Arrived for a first time visit in Caloundra. When I booked in the lady could not have been more helpful, you earned these stars alone, thank you! The first night however we froze as the air conditioning didnt work, no heaters in room. The next day we were issued with heaters and told that a technician would look at the unit when possible. Heaters were helpful on night two. On our third day we arrived back at our unit to a tradesman walking out of our door. We had not been given notice of his intended entry neither was a hotel staff member accompanying him. When I called reception to enquire I was told that a call was made to the room and one to our mobile (no message was left). When I tried to provide feedback as to this breach in privacy protocol, as a paying guest, I was advised that I signed off to allow entry for maintenance and emergencies when I booked in; so according to management my privacy as a paying guest means very little. Clearly the air con is not an emergency and wont be fixed for the duration of our stay due to it being a costly fix. The room (503) also has a light nearly falling out of the kitchen ceiling (image attached) and the toilet doesnt flush properly. We as paying guests are supposed to advise management of issues with the unit on our departure; signage instructs us to do this. Clearly this process is not working. What happened to quality control from management? Not happy :-/

  Starting to look tired... make sure you get a room close to the top or your view is just shop/restaurant rooftops. Lifts smell of too much air freshener and the air conditioner needs some sound suppression! Otherwise, it is clean and apartment layout is good.

  Celebration Birthday and Anniversary

  Warm welcome and beautiful and peaceful place to be. Unit was clean and beautifully decorated with everything needed for a great few days relaxing. One side on deck view of water and opposite side view of bush and suburb. Enough space for all to enjoy. Well cared for.

  Spacious Apartment, convenient location with an amazing rooftop pool!

  Our family just had a wonderful week at Pumistone Blue resort occupying a 2 and 3 bedroom superior view apartment. Both Apartments were very spacious, clean and had spectacular view of pumistone passage and the ocean. We are return guests and love the location for its convenience to the esplanade, restaurants, shops and the amazing rooftop pool. Thanks again Margaret & Kylie. See you in 2020 :)
