    Natural Boutique Resort

We visited this resort and stay for 1 night, the resort is small like stay at home, all around the resort has a frangipani flower garden, small pool was green, the receptionist Nong Fern is friendly and helpful. Room was in good condition but we feel not private because the curtains in the room was translucent so we can see people walk in front of our room. Breakfast was normal with not many choices to choose. If the owner meet and greet guests in the ABF time like another small individual Thai Resort would be great to share this comment.

Fantastic hotel for a relaxing escape near Chiang Mai... the rooms, the facilities, the ambience and the swimming pool are outstanding! Special mention to the service: the owners and the staff at Puka Boutique Resort were extremely kind, efficient and helpful and made our experience unique! 100% recommended!!!

Isolated place , food terrible, different from the picture on the website

We stay in the suite room with private hydro massage. The room and the hydro massage is TOTALLY DIFFERENT from the picture on the website . We booked for 5 night. First impression the room was dark , no telephone, too many mosquitoes, the bed sheet and the bed cover smell like its been long time without wash.no amenities, only 2 cups noodles and selection of tea and coffee on the table . When we arrived its about 6 pm , and they said they didnt open the restaurant for dinner . So we need to order grab to go to the city , which is cost 270 bath one way . No proper check in. First day breakfast : there are 5 options for breakfast. My boyfriend ordered scarmbel egg , and coffee . The scrambled egg was terrible, the ham was spoiled. They give orange juice (which is taste not fresh) mostly like a orange syrup serve in the old fashioned glass. The resort is far from everywhere, you can check thru google maps before you book. Imagine you need to pay grab 500 bath everytime you go out for dinner . The resort was empty maybe thats the reasons they close the restaurant. Its not worth it for 23.000 bath .

If you want to be completely isolated then it might be the place for you

I booked 2 rooms which are mini suites and grand suites - 3 of us including my parents, Checked their Facebook prior to booking and was trapped by the photos of activities and liveliness at the resort which were taken moons ago. And the price is not low.... The hotel used to have its glory when it first opened, now it is more like a deserted hotel, we were the only guests there, it was super quiet to the point where we felt unsafe and couldn't really relax and sleep. During the night there was only 1 security guard in the whole hotel, no staff at reception to stand by, no one else and nothing moved at the resort. We woke up early at about 6 AM and found that the security guard left, and wanted to check out early but no one there as the staff usually comes in at 8 or 9 AM???? the hotel was left completely unattended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We left without having breakfast as we suspected it wouldn't be good as no one there to cook. There was a café with a nice view , but no one was there, you couldn't even order a cup of coffee cuz there was no staff. The room is nicely designed and well put but the sheets and bed smells funky... It might be good if you wanna stay somewhere super isolated,,,but for us , we will never go back, the hotel lacks of liveliness and its a pity because it is over all a nice hotel.

    Perfect peace...

We had a wonderful time here! The rooms are beautiful - we stayed in a mini suite and were then upgraded to the Jakuzzi Suite. Both rooms are spacious, sparkling clean and with HUGE beds. They are both in the rice barn and so built from teak - a lovely place to chill. Yes, it is remote, but that's why it is so peaceful. There was no problem borrowing the bikes, renting a moped or car - although we were quite happy lounging by the lovely pool surveying the scenery over the rice paddies. We rented a moped and we didn't have to go far to find a food court, a lovely little bakery/restaurant (Chapulins) or local food stalls for lunch/dinner. Breakfast at the resort was perfect - eggs, toast sausages (frankfurters). Eet and the young lady at breakfast always had a smile for us and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend!
