  Night away

  Myself & my partner were going to the Eden Project for an evening concert, this gorgeous B&B is only about 10mins away. It is absolutely stunning, in beautifully looked after grounds. We were greeted by Lorraine who is a friendly & attentive landlady. Our room was cosy, clean & had a view of the back garden. We got to have a look up at the stables too. Breakfast was more than ample & delicious before we left. The dogs are friendly too! I would definitely recommend a stay here & we will hopefully be back. Thank you Lorraine & Patrick

  The Eden Project

  My daughters bought me a ticket to The Eden Project, so I thought I had better use it. I looked in line for a hotel, but the proces were high. Then I stumbled upon this little gem.... Wow! Lovely place, easy to find as you drive down the road to St Austell. Immaculate gardens, immaculate room. Not a speck of dust anywhere. Clean ensuite. Good shower, lovely wooden doors with 'ye olde' catches. Good choice of breakfasts, cereals, juice and full English. I just opted for some parts of the full English, and all was good. Cleaned the plate each time!! 3 nights.... Don't hesitate to book....

  Lovely B&B in near rural surrounds.

  Providence Farm was a lovely B&B in an excellently and tastefully renovated very old cottage. Our room was a bit small but adequate and quaint. The location was excellent with a short trip to the Eden Project, The Lost Garden of Heligan, and the St Austell town. We had a 15 min drive to Charlestown where some of Poldark was filmed. This little seaside area had tall ships and excellent restaurants. We ate at "Wreckers" and had one of the best seafood meals ever. Also it is well worth a walk around the area and a visit to the historical china clay works. Lorraine our host provided excellent advice on what to see in the area and where to eat - hence a meal at Charlestown. Off street parking. Excelent breakfast.

  Overnighter....

  Stayed for a couple of nights whilst visiting my father. Have frequented many of the lodgings in St Austell, for the last few years, yet this one I had somehow missed! Quaint older stone building, on a small holding with horses and terriers. Dogs never out when guests around unless we expressly ask to see them, theyre very friendly. IF you dont like dogs, tell the owners when you call, you wont see or even hear them. Rooms pretty and again, quaint. Refreshments and bathroom sundries. Soft thick towels, all clean and fresh. Two points, if you have a big truck, the gate opens outwards on to the busy road, so pull into the drive opposite, go and open the gate, then swing across unto Providence Farm drive. Its not safe to reverse out to let the gate open. Secondly, if you need plant based or gf items, bring with or ring the owners as they have said they will make sure you have some plant based milk in your room. one last thing, I didnt worry when I Ieft the B&B, but another guest did mention there is no lock on the door to the room. My iPad was there when I returned, so no issue at all! Thanks Lorraine for saving me from the MAMMOTH deadly spider who came in from the rain!

  Lovely little B&B in cycling distance of The Eden Project

  Immaculate and charming, we stayed in the very comfortable Rose room with ensuite. The hosts were friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfasts were cooked to order and very tasty! The photos on their website don't do their property justice - beautiful garden, the bedroom and bath. Picture perfect!
