  Clean rooms and helpful staff

  We stayed in this hotel one night before traveling to Livingstone. Hotel was good and rooms clean. The whole trip was last minute and we had only 3 days to visit Victoria falls...I tried to book Devils pool online but every time I pressed 'book' the error message appeared. While checking out I asked Ms Constance at the reception if she knows another way how we could book the tour as we were worried that Devil's pool might sold out for the next day by the time we arrive to Livingstone. She offered to call someone in Lusaka and asked what other activities we were planning to book. By the time we arrived to Victoria falls I had an email from her with the bookings for Devil's pool next day and also Full day water rafting day after. Both were amazing... Great customer service and thank you Constance for saving our short last minute holiday.

  Beautiful Place. You will never go wrong, humble place but beautiful. Every one was warm and friendly, definitely it is a place to stay, and you get value for your money. In Lusaka there is no need to stay in backpackers places. This is the best place and rates are affordable.

  Strategic Location

  I tried Protea Lusaka Towers the first time I was in Zambia and decided to try their branch in the centre of town.I liked how the hotel location is accessible to several points of interest for me. Easy access to alternative restaurants, malls, banks and ATMs, forex bureaus and even the Lusaka Museum. The rooms are surprisingly quiet though hotel is in the city centre. I stayed in 3 rooms and all didn't have any great views but I guess that's the trade-off for being in the centre of town

  Value for money

  I stayed here only for a night. It is a basic hotel, the rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. The restaurant serves good vegetarian options. The drainage in the bathroom needs to be fixed, water kept accumulating during shower.

  Air conditioning made me sick

  Got very sick from the air conditioning in the room. I travel a lot and have air conditioners at home. Never had this happen before. The air conditioner is an older model that is NOT common in Zambia (I have travelled a lot across the country and never seem one like this in zambia before). I would not want people to go and get sick.
