  Nice hotel with great restaurant !

  We had dinner in the restaurant and stayed in the hotel. It was all perfect; nice, helpfull and friendly staff, nice and clean rooms and, most important, good beds! An excellent breakfast was served in the morning with all you could wish for. If you stay in the hotel, I recommend to eat in the restaurant as well. Lovely, delicious dishes at a great price. Defenitely value for money as their Bib Gourmand award promises.

  The alure of the high quality food, drinks and rest, recently updated and making its mark.

  The hotel and restaurant have quite a good reputation and that's a big reason why we stayed here. It certainly lived up to the high expectations we had. The welcoming was hospitable and professional. We were placed in a 1st floor room with a view of the beautiful garden. They selected this room for us so we could receive our baby-videophone in the restaurant and we enjoyed our diner while keeping an eye on our 6 month old baby. We hadn't thought to ask for this, so thank you! Diner was excellent! The kitchen received an award from the Michelin organization and it's worth it. I'm not a big fan of fish, but the mackerel starter was delicious. The room we stayed in was modernized, without losing its antique charm. That is difficult (especially with technical installations), but the overall feel was good so the minor points didn't bother us. After a good nights rest (we slept like babies too), we enjoyed our breakfast and went on our way. We'll be sure to return.

  Amazing!

  It is not only a hotel but also a restaurant. It used to have a Michelin Star and is now owned by the daughter. The food is amazing. You can choose between a 3 or 4 course meal, paying 35,- or 43,50. That is the same price you pay in the High Street of Valkenburg but SO MUCH better! They really pay attention to the food and tell you where the ingriedents are bought and why they choose to buy there etc. It is just AMAZING!

  Comfortable stopover

  We visited this hotel en route to Germany. We were asked to provide an arrival time and as we got out of our car in the car park opposite the charming owner met us and welcomed us to the hotel, helping us with our luggage, His wife was on reception and was very helpful and welcoming. The lift wasn't working during our stay but it wasn't a problem. Sadly the restaurant was closed (they had told us by e-mail before arrival) but we walked into the centre and had a satisfying meal, The room was spacious and very comfortable, The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

  Great location and very hospitable, a bit expensive

  We stayed here one night during the christmas market. The owners are very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was great. Beds are comfortable and very important: hot water with plenty of pressure. Everything in Valkenburg is at walking distance so the car can stay in the free, though unsecure, car park. Any downsides? For the money we payed for the jr. suite I expected more from the room. The ambiance in the room was a bit cheap, especially compared to the rest of the hotel. To end positive, the room was very clean!
