Room not as itinerary stated - dodgy wifi - put in a dungeon roomI would like to first say that the location of this hotel is great. Right on the strip and close to all the bars clubs and restaurants. The pools are good sized and a good temperature and the hotel grounds are nicely kept. The food in the hotel bar is nice and cheap as well as the drinks. Unfortunately theyre the only positives. The staff are incredibly rude. We arrived around 9pm to check in (check in is until 12am) we were greeted by a Greek man at the bar named George. He was friendly and chatty with us and helped us check in. Our itinerary clearly stated that we had booked a room with a double bed and two twin beds. Instead we were given two twin beds and a small single sofa bed and no fourth bed. When we questioned this they bought a trundle bed to us and explained they would fix us up tomorrow. The next day we went to see reception and they advised that there was no such room as the itinerary we had so there was no room to give us. So we had paid for a double/twins and were given a dodgy trundle, tiny rock hard single sofa bed and then two twin beds. The girl did not care at all at the inconvenience this caused or see how unacceptable this was. We didnt pay to sleep on a roll away bed and an uncomfortable sofa in a shoe box room. Instead the offered us extra blankets to try and soften the hard sofa which did not much at all. They lock the gates to the hotel grounds at night time and there is a security guard who comes and opens it once you yell his name. When he comes to open it he is incredibly rude and disgruntled as if you making him get up is a chore (even though its literally his only job) Bearing in mind the pool bar is open and playing loud music til 1am. We were sitting in our den of a balcony one night (wasnt a balcony because we were under ground. If we stood up we were at eye level with the pool tiles) We had music playing at 11pm and the guard came and screamed at us. Even after we apologised he kept going and going even though the pool bar had their music playing twice as loud. Then later on when one of us returned to the room to get changed he got her attention by saying oi girl We had to pay for the aircon which was fine.. except it barely worked. The second you opened the front or the balcony door it switched off. There was no way to control the temperature or fan speed. They gave us 1 key between 4 people and the key needed to be in the socket in the wall for the electricity to work. Could not leave the room with phones/laptops charging or aircon working so would always come home to a stinking hot room. The room they gave us was below floor level so no wifi reached us, and even the cellular data on our phones did not work once down in the room so to use the wifi we would have to go and sit in the bar. All in all, would probably not stay here again

George is a con manThis hotel is right on the strip and is amazing location for lads and girls holidays though families where staying there to. Upon arrival my group of girls (4) and a different group of lads (5) all arrived at the same time. It was late all we wanted was to get ready and go out. But George wouldnt let us till we paid 10 for a fish bowl. Both groups had one but then he started chatting our ears off. We all kept looking at each other like just give us our keys. It was clear at this point George just wants your money Finally allowed to our rooms we had two rooms but as 2 of my mates went to go into their room other peoples things where in there. Simple mistake easily fixed Rooms were okay but like everything these days have to pay for everything. Air con. Well its worth it if the power card comes off the key ring like it did ours so when you come in its cool but not when you cannot snap it off the key you come in and its boiling. We got blamed for it snapping lol. Also he will try and charge you more or what ever he wants. In the room it was something like 32 for the week when we asked he tried to charge 49 until we questioned and George was like 32 is what I said okay mate. He does shout at his guests and favourites the girls and speaks horribly to lads if you do one thing wrong. Food and drinks okay but 1000 times better and cheaper on strip like Britts or WKD bar just across the road. 3 for a cup of fanta lemon. The bottle only would have coast 1.50 at most. I dont eat chips so just asked for chicken nuggets. Chicken nuggets and chips at 5 decent for 5 nuggets and chips. I got charged 5 for 5 nuggets. No extra no nothing its still a good price for nuggets but even a 1 off or an extra nugget. Ate out most of the time Pools okay try and get sun beds off the grass area its horrible round there Been Malia twice and stayed in 2 different hotels but I wouldnt come back to this one

DisappointingTotally get this isn't a fancy hotel, but there were more problems than there should have been with very little help to solve them. My kids stayed here and experienced things like the shower falling out of the wall, a locked concierge upon arrival, poor a/c. Most of these items eventually received attention but only after days went by and a lot of calls were made. I do understand the Grecian culture - that it is more laid back and less urgent, but at the end of the day, they really should be trying to get good reviews by helping out their guests...not stressing them out.

Ok if your under 18Did not sleep the whole week not a party pooper but from 10 in the evening the constant flow of teenager's shouting screaming and banging doors was just too much. There is no control of noise levels in this hotel. Loud music being constantly played. And no let up or respect for other guests. One night, next door got locked out by his buddy and spent hour's banging on door. Eventually my partner decided to get up and have a cigarette on balcony and the lad was on the roof leaning over asking if he could climb over to his balcony. The answer was do one! He was eventually let in by staff at 6.30am. Would definitely not book this hotel if your not a party animal or have a family. On the other hand the rooms are ok. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Apartment was very basic if you plan to cook. Our cleaner was very helpful and attended our room every day. Grounds were very well kept , pools looked clean although we never stayed around the pool areas. Our choice as we love the beach. The strip was loud but when we closed our balcony door was barely a hum. Aircon was extra 45 euros for the week. But we was aware of extras. TV was also extra. The lack of any management let this hotel down. Otherwise it would of been ok. Malia is definitely a party town for youngsters. But we had some fantastic meals at very reasonable rates and met some lovely restaurant owners. Greek people are lovely and saved this holiday for us.

Not customers apparentlyBad service, the owner and manager harass for money 24/7 and says you arent a customer if you dont buy from the hotel bar for everything you need. Lie about things to try and force money from people.
