  Hotel normalito

  Lo mejor del hotel, sin duda, es la señal wifi (aunque suele perderse). El restaurante es bueno, aunque caro. Disponen de servicio de transfer al aeropuerto. Es un hotel seguro pero que estaba en obras cuando lo visité y no me permitió descansar.

  Muy normal a pesar del nombre

  Cerca del puerto y zona rarita por las noches. Es caro para lo normal que es. Piscina cubierta y mala wi-fi. Desayuno con relativa variedad y calidad. Habitaciones normales muy pasadas de moda. Necesita actualizarse

  Acceptable business hotel, but nice view!

  So the hotel is pretty straightforward, the rooms are quite big if somewhat tired å a lot of tiles and echos. The food in the restaurant is actually quite good,and the view from the restaurant is over the port, which gives you an actual feeling for the city you are in. So if its a toss up for any mid range hotel, I would try this hotel just for the breakfast view. Its the equivalent of the airport lounges overlooking the tarmac - here you can watch the bustling port across the street.

  Clean, safe, quality service

  The hotel is in the business district which quiets down quickly after 6pm. Yet only a few blocks away are all the shops, restaurants and bars you can imagine. While it may not be the newest hotel in Douala, the cleanliness, security, and attentive staff reveal a top notch management. A business hotel, in the business district, for business customers, yet relaxed and happy enough for vacationers with smiles on every employee. The breakfast was great with coffee strong enough to cure any jetlag. The dinner menu was amazing with both taste and presentation. I will definitely be coming back.

  Nice Hotel, Great Service, Watch the Incidentals

  I would give this hotel a 5 rating. The service and cleanliness of the hotel are excellent. However, the 100 per day incidental charge is ridiculous. I had a 5 day stay, and had 500 held on my AMEX the entire stay. I called AMEX, and they said once funds are verified the merchant has the option of releasing the hold immediately. The hotel did not, even after I asked them, and informed them of the procedure outlined by AMEX. The real topper was that upon check out. I was told the card had to be run again because they had "a system problem". I argued with them that their system problem should not be my problem. They have the card authorization for 500. When they were able they should just charge the 134 against that authorization, and release the rest. I ended up having to let them run the card again. I was down 634 at the end of the day, with no idea when the 500 will be released. Be careful and aware!!!! I will not be staying there in my future trips to Paris!!!
