  Poor Service

  We arrived at 4.00pm as planned, to see a notice on the door 'closed 10.30 am until 9.00pm'!! Also restaurant closed for a week. So we had to go away and find somewhere to hang around and then eat in our clothes we had worn all day in the heat and then get back before 9.00pm! Altogether totally unsatisfactory. They should have at the very least informed us by e mail so that we could have made other arrangements.

  Stayed for Business...would definately go back

  The staff was very friendly and helpful especially since I can say @ 3 words in Italian. I found the rooms to be quite clean, the towels VERY large, lots of HOT water, and the breakfast (included in my stay) more than adequate. There was an annoying barking dog, however this was not the Hotel's fault. For Breakfast....I had THE best croissants!!! I just came from Paris (4 days) and the hotels were far superior. The dinner in the restaurant was exquisite. I have traveled in many countries and eaten in "better" venues, and by far this was the best place I have ever eaten....from the appetizer, salad all the way to dessert. They also have the BEST Prosecco and espresso here. There was one downfall...and that was the pillows...not very comfortable and the bed was average....however, this did not mare my stay. I would love to come back in the Spring. The views in the town are absolutely INCREDIBLE.

  A wonderful good start to our stay in "Godega di Sant'Urbano

  Although we got there at around 11.00 we were offered an early check in - A wonderful good start to our stay Unfortunately the uncivilised selfish people who left the room before us didnt take any notice of all the clear NoSmoking signs because when we got into the room there was an awful stink of cigarettes. A much more stringent application of the Non Smoking legislation is required in Italy!! Because the staff is still too worried to enforce the lawand be in a position to sanction with heavy fines any transgressor without any backfire. After few hours of comfortable stay in the room we had a problem with the heating control, we tried to turn it on but it didnt work. A call to reception and within minutes a service man tried to fix after few failed attempt the Manager came to our room and offered immediately a change of room, not the ideal, but better than spend the night in a freezing cold room (outside temps were -5C*) however as we had got the luggage ready for the transfer, by miracle the heating started to work again, so, we opted to stay. But the manager insisted that we would have dinner on the house for the happening!! We declined as we had already booked to go out, but we were very impressed by the way that a little glitch was solved!! We were shown a true care for our comfort. We are thinking of going back with some disabled friends but we didn't see any lift or easy access for this, however we didn't think of mentioning this at the time of our stay so we are not sure if they are hidden somewhere, but I am confident that even this would be sorted somehow. Luminous light and tasteful decoration in the bedroom, comfortable beds and spacious bathroom with lots of natural light!! Very satisfied with everything, we will definitely go there again on our next visit Thanks

  Good value for money

  To make things easy - here are my pro's and con's: Pro's first: -Own restaurant with marvellous Italian food - not the average stuff! -Rooms are clean and middle sized -Breakfast Italian style, i.e. a lot of sweetish stuff like croissants, cakes & cookies for breakfast -Free wireless -Free parking on spacious parking lot infront of hotel Con's: Couldn't think of any - enjoyed it!

  Comfortable Stay

  I have stayed in this stay for 5 days while i was on my business trip. i found rooms neat and clean and hotel staff was quite professional. Wifi is free and ample parking space is available in hotel compound.
