  Great value

  Stayed here for one night while visiting a family in Kaluga. I chose it based on rating on booking website and it was a very positive experience. The rate was surprisingly favourable. The location is on Oka Riverbank, the street is a direct continuation of ulitsa Lenina. Receptionist very nice and helpful, the hotel is clean and nicely furnished. Our room had two rooms - a living room with a couch, TV and some closets and a bedroom with double bed. Bathroom very clean, hygienic products provided - even a toothbrush and a mini toothopaste. Very thoughtful. Very good sleep quality, I haven't slept like that in quite a long time. The only con is the breakfast which is of pre-made bought things as I believe they don't have a proper kitchen in the hotel. There is a hot water and a microwave, but no eggs or juices or cereals. If you're a picky eater, just have the breakfast somwhere else. Overall it was a very good value for money, nice and clean hotel with views of Oka river and I would go and stay there again and also recommend it to the other travellers.

  Lovely stay

  Great little hotel with friendly and professional service, and a wonderful place to stay. The bed is huge and very comfortable, the room is spacious, the bathroom is good with lots of free toiletries etc. The only thing was the absence of a kettle, which they promised but never brought. Breakfast is included - a rather simple list which you choose the night before, but it turned out to be perfectly adequate. Staff actually could give advice about the town (a rarity in Russia) and will hold bags for you. On the river. Lovely place.
