  Busniness trip

  Do not use this hotel! Booked a room for my husband's business trip last week. He informed the hotel that he would be arriving late and they said they would leave a key in a specific location which they did not do and he was forced to find another hotel at 11.30pm at night. When he spoke to the hotel the next day the woman on reception didn't even apologise and said that they hadn't charged him for the first night as if he should be grateful for the fact that he didn't have to pay for a room they didn't provide! They wouldn't even give him his evening meal he had the following night free of charge.Terrible customer service. Will not be returning.

  Excellent

  What a great place to stay, the management and staff were second to none,the breakfast was lovely and hot, nothing was too much trouble for the staff who bent over backwards to make are stay one to remember,the room was clean and comfortable and I would definitely recommend it to anyone

  Family room

  Great place , room clean and spacious . Family room is the whole top floor with a little seating area . Breakfast lovely and hot , takeaway at the moment and was very well done . Felt completely at ease and would recommend

  Wake Function

  We booked the function rooms at the Preston Hotel for my mums wake and were very happy with the venue and service. Meg was very helpful, respectful and friendly and the surroundings, buffet and staff were very pleasant. I would highly recommend. Thank you

  Not a hotel for the disabled

  This budget hotel, is just that, run down and dated. But, my room was very clean. I use a stick, following a recent stroke, and carrying my overnight bag, handbag and stick upstairs s to my room, approx 20 stairs was not easy. No lift. The recptionist who seems to do every other job as well.was not terribly helpful. Covid 19 meant a take away breakfast, in cardboard containers and plastic cutlery to be collected at kitchen door in a bag then taken upstairs to eat in my room. Not a good idea, it was awful. All in all, a ghastly experience. I wont be returning.
