  In the Heart of Diyarbakr

  I recommend you to stay at this hotel. It is in the centre for the city (very close to Office and Art Streets). There is a little noise if you book a room from the front but i recommend you to book from the front anyway because other rooms are not big as the front ones. There is very famous restaurant which is specialized on meat nearby. The guys are helpful. The place you can sit on the 1st floor is pretty nice, you can make your business meetings in there. Do not forget to walk through Art Street.

  Very central, modern and spacious

  Really nice place to stay in the centre of Diyarbakir. It is very well designed inside, the room was lovely as was the ensuite bathroom. The view from the restaurant at the top was wonderful, especially in the morning. Breakfast was great, with a wide range of food available. There is also complementary wifi.

  Disappointed

  The hotel is located at a busy intersection. It offers quick access to a number of shops, places to eat but if you are looking for a place to sleep think twice. I arrived late and all I needed was sleep before I started a very busy day. I had called at noon and asked for a non-smoking and quiet room. Well, that did not help. I was told the non-smoking rooms were taken. I soon discovered my room on the 4th floor was noisy but I was told there were no other rooms. The upper floors were noisier, I was told, because they had live music on the top floor. Soon I figured some of the noise I was hearing came from the top floor. Two more issues: The electric switch did not work. Had to call the technician to get it fixed. After the technician left, I discovered the television did not work but I did not bother calling for him again.

  Avoid if you want to sleep

  The Prestige Hotel in Diyarbakir is located on a busy intersection of four roads and very , very noisy. As it was very warm we asked for the air condition to be switched on but was told it is out of order. On top of that there is two restaurants with loud music late into the night.The staff is not helpful and try to ignore your requests , which in my personal experience is unusual for Turkey. We planned to stay four nights but booked out the next morning to find another hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are lovely and clean and breakfast is very good and the wifi works well. Diyarbakir is a lovely city just stay at another hotel.

  Central, modern and comfortable

  Enjoyed my stay. Staff were warm and welcoming! Great location to get to places. Taxi drivers also amazingly helpful! Highly recommend. It's in the city but easy to get to other places near by. Airport very close so no need to leave hours before.
