How I'm happy that it was only one night here!We had a business meeting in Adler and so we needed to stay there for one night. The Prestige hotel is one of the few 4-star hotels in Adler (they don't have a 5-star hotels at all), and so we have chosen it for an overnight stay. How I'm happy that it was just one night! The only thought that we could come here for leisure, for one week or two makes me mad! Overall the building and the small courtyard are fine, clean and well-maintained. Rooms are as dull, old-fashioned and provincial as anywhere else in Sochi, but they are clean and with good AC. The staff is quite friendly (however not more) compared to many of Sochi hotels. Their restaurant and breakfast (in a tiny breakfast room) are so boring, that even we have got mad though we stayed only overnight. But the biggest problem is the location. The hotel is in the remote, badly maintained part of the city in a dusty street. There a lot of construction works in the area. The railroad with this crazy train noise every 5 minutes is just 10 meters from the entrance. The same with their beach - relax on dirty pebbles and concrete listening to the trains passing by...

First visit to SochiHotel was good enough in an 80s way, inhouse restaurant was nice enough to eat in every night for a 7 day stay. Rooms could do with an upgrade as they had old-style TVs with 2 foot deep cabinets. No flat screen here :-) Staff were very friendly and helpful and the free wifi made it possible to communicate with them using the iphone and google translate. Technology eh? Only one of the staff I met spoke any English, which makes things a little complicated, though not unusual for this part of the world. Hotel location is 'almost' right on the seafront, though you have to cross railway lines to get to the beach. Location isn't tooo bad, though a taxi to downtown Adler takes anything between 10 minutes and almost an hour depending on the traffic chaos. Not recommended to walk to Adler from the hotel as it's around 10kms. Overall a good honest hotel which I would stay in again if needs be.

Not badGood location of hotel, near seaside, and not far from Adler railway station. Nice room, even standart, you have all important things that you must have. But it's not about bath cosmetic. Nice personal in hotel. Mountains situated in 50 km, in winter you can go ski to there. Minus : between hotel and beach situated railway. It's not so laud if windows is close, I guess in summer can be worse.
