not that greatWe were visiting Prestige City 1 from the 9th-16th of July 2014. I dont have much positive stuff to say about this hotel: We had all inclusive, the soda machine was broken or empty half the time, the beer was thin and the waiters had absolutely no idea what they were doing, seeing a smile from one of the staff was a rare sight, which i think is optional, the food, was so very close to unedible, morning, lunch and dinner, they had grey in grey balkan food, which was tasteless and cold. The waiters took our plates when we werent even finished eating. The pool looked like it never got cleaned, it had a thick layer of sunoil in the edge every morning and one morning you could hardly see the bottom of the pool, all you could see was a few insects thriving at the bottom. wild cats were strolling the premises all the time aswell. tall grass everywhere, dripping AC, bathroom thats under water for an entire week because of the heater being broken on one bathroom and the toilet on the other.

Fantastic pool areaThe newly refurbished pool area is fantastic at Prestige City 1. There is a big pool with a smaller pool for kiddies too. The area around the pool has been re tiled and the addition of the pool side bar is nice addition too. Food in the hotel ( all inclusive) was nice, though a little repetitive. Rooms were basic but clean with a a fully fitted kitchen in our apartment with a full sized fridge freezer. Staff were very helpful and organised activities every day for the younger generation. Will definitely be going back

Read this honest review before you stay here!!We booked two rooms here from 13th - 20th September, one for 2 adults and 2 children and one for 1 adult and 1 child. Both rooms were basic, but clean which we expected from 3 star in Bulgaria. There was plenty of storage for clothes and facilities for basic self catering, however we were all inclusive - more on that later. The bedding provided was a pillow and a sheet with an extra sheet and to be fair that's what we needed as it was very hot during our stay. There were three blankets in the cupboard but one had a variety of brown stains and smelt of urine. There was a single bed in the lounge and a sofa, but no bedding for the 4th person so our boy slept on the sofa with one of the blankets and no pillow most nights. The air conditioning unit worked, but the extractor for it was on the balcony at ground level and blows hot air out. On the website the hotel states free wi-fi, but you have to pay for it by the hour - we didn't. The staff are ok, but most of them don't speak any English. We had to google translate 'butter' to get some at breakfast. Which brings me nicely onto the all inclusive food. Breakfast is 8-10 and consists of scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, hot dog sausages, fried bread, salami, cheese, biscuits, bread, honey, cereal and jam. Most of the 'hot' food is lukewarm. Lunch is usually chicken and chips, or similar, again with salad and bread and lukewarm. There has been a better selection at dinner. Rice, spaghetti, chips, usually served with a selection of meats, some in sauces. Desserts consist of cake or mousse and rice pudding, but not all on the same night. The all inclusive drinks are beer, wine, spirits and mixers and soft drinks served from 10-10 each day. If you're planning on supping free cocktails for a week this isn't the hotel for you. This is not a 24 hour all inclusive hotel. The main problem with drinks was that there was no Pepsi for the duration of our stay, well there was, but it was bottles in the fridge, which you have to pay for. Until we complained and then we were allowed them for free, until they ran out and then they were not restocked. For a couple of days there was only a lemon drink or tonic water available for the kids. Snacks are served 4-6pm only and are one thing. Sometimes wafer biscuits, sometimes cold fried bread from breakfast. If you're a fussy eater come here if you want to lose weight on holiday!! The best part of the hotel is the pool and the location. It's off the main road, but only a short walk to the bus stops and the road train to Nessebar. The pool is small and we probably benefited from being here in school time, but we enjoyed a few days around the pool and it's big enough for the kids to use inflatables. The pool bar was open when we arrived on the Wednesday, but didn't open after the Friday as there weren't enough staff to manage that and the restaurant bar. Despite asking to speak to the manager a few times he was never available. Apart from our second to last night when one of the tables in the outer area of the restaurant was laid out with a cloth and reserved. He made an appearance and enjoyed a 4 course meal with a box of wine, while we looked on eating cold chips and crisps from the nearby shop because the kids were still hungry. We were told he was entertaining potential investors. This involved loud music and lots of clapping until 3am while his guests tossed and turned and got about three hours sleep. The rooms were only cleaned once during our week long stay. On our final full day here the cleaner arrived and presented me with a toilet roll. I asked for shampoo and towels to be told no with a shrug of her shoulders and shown her empty trolley. As for Sunny Beach and Nessebar I'd definitely come back, but I definitely wouldn't stay here.
