PilgrimageWe arrived at this hotel at about 10.00 p.m. after a rather long flight expecting to have a good night's rest. But this was not to be cause we entered into a Hotel or was it a night club, with music blaring and scantly clad girls. We finally got to our rooms on the 4th floor but sleep evaded us since the loud music was pounding throughout the night. Thank God it was just a one night transit and weren't we glad to get out

Filthy and utterly disgustingN/B this review has been delayed whilst our travel agent pursued a full refund through legal means. My company's travel agent booked this hotel for myself and colleagues when we arrived in Jordan last year. We arrived at 3am on saturday morning (flights to Amman get in late) and the hotel nightclub in the basement was kicking out (and kicking off!). The noise was incredible and was accompanied by groups of guys screaming the Arabic equivalent of "leave 'im ricky, 'es not worth it!" etc. to their drunk mates and the revving, car horns, music etc. from big cars outside as the young Jordanian guys showed off. The usual mayhem outside a nightclub the world over + big cars! It did die down by about 4am. When we got to our rooms they were disgusting (see photos). The bed sheets had not been changed and were filthy (and it turns out later were infested with lice). The bathroom was dirty with a hole in the ceiling, pubic hair on the floor and in the sink & Bath, muddy footprints on the back of the door. The shower didn't work and just dribbled (see photo of it on max). The window handles in the room were broken and didn't shut properly so the car / nightclub mayhem three floors below was very loud (photo). My colleague's room had some sort of bodily fluid that was oozing down one wall (please god let it only be phlegm (see photo)). The floor was covered in rubbish and cigarette ash and under my bed was a plastic bag full of used condoms (photos). The fridge was dirty and made me shudder. The fire exit on each level was obstructed by a table and chairs (photos) so if there was a fire you'd be stuck. In the morning the staff were clearly shocked when we came down for breakfast and had to send someone out to get something to serve us for breakfast. It was very obvious that their normal clientele don't use their rooms to sleep a whole night, (as the bag of condoms hinted). I'd describe this hotel as a filthy brothel.. but that is probably slanderous to brothels. Our travel agent has blacklisted this hotel from any future bookings. Do yourself a favour and don't ever stay here under any circumstances. You're better off sleeping in the car and you won't have to purchase cream to remove the body lice!
