  The customer service was awsome. Jovelle was really a big part that my stay was great.

  From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out my experience was great and worry free. They always looked after my needs and made my stay very comfortable. All the stuff was great and Jovelle in particular, was a very friendly and helpful person.

  Great beds

  Stayed here for 3 nights, or was a great place to stay, it was close to the road but we didn't mind the traffic noise. The house keeping was OK. The breakfast was OK I'd say 3/5 because there was no waffle machine. However you can get an omelette made. We also ate in the pub, which was also average but not terrible. I'd say overall it's OK BUT I would return for the simple reason the bed was fantastic!!

  Great location. Quiet.

  First, the location is fantastic. Easily walkable to many restaurants/pubs, as well as the Suncor Community Leisure Centre. Check-in is at the Podollan Inn, one block away. Not terribly inconvenient, but if you have a bunch of luggage, you might want to tell your taxi to wait for you. As others have noted, the beds are fantastic! Jen, at the front desk, was exceptionally nice and helpful.

  Disappointing

  When I stepped off the elevator I could smell cigarette smoke and the scent did not disappear in my room. I checked out within hours of checking in, did not sleep or even unpack and I was still charged for the stay. I am extremely dissatisfied with both the quality and cleanliness of the room as well as the customer relations.

  Who wants an $800 pre authorization for a 3 days. well this is your place!

  So I am writing this on my boyfriends account. I stayed here for a 3 day course this past week. IF YOU WANT TO GO TO FORT MAC AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE COVID! We went to do back to school shopping today and her card was pre-authorized 800+ dollars for her stay, for 3 days and there are no explanations as to why. Hey not like people are dealing with covid on a tight budget and having to make ends meet but when school starts in 2 days now, and you go to Walmart, having your card declined from a pre authorization that well over doubles your stay. Well that's annoying. So thank you Podollan Rez-idence Fort McMurray for having my daughter not have her school supplies and then when I call have the answer " well it will be back in 3-5 days" school starts in 1... just saying take the responsibility. I wouldn't have typed this out if a manager would have explained the situation. good luck at this hotel people. hope you are all single with 800 to light on fire for 3-5 days. Oh and if anyone doubts this I would love a reply from a manager to contradict a word I have said one here...
