  Great staff in a hilly location

  By Premier Inn standards a more interesting hotel than usual as one building of the hotel (the main bit) is situated in a delightful old house on a hill on the north side of Stockports town centre. Usefully it is quite close to the quirky covered market and shops. But be warned, Stockport is surprisingly hilly and so this particular Premier Inn not ideal for anyone who has difficulty walking or exerting themselves a little after visiting the town centre. That said, the staff are friendly and helpful, food and drink are brought to you quickly, and any internet problems quickly resolved. All in all, strongly recommended.

  Excellent, as usual

  We often stay here when visiting relatives and always get a warm welcome from the staff. Very pleasant and accommodating when we requested some extra pillows and even though she looked busy she brought them up within minutes. The only downside is no bath but I don't think there's room in the main hotel rooms as it's an old building. We ate in the Restaurant this time for ease and were very pleasantly surprised and will definitely go there from now on, very covid safe and tasty food too at a reasonable price.

  Well located, quiet & nice

  This Premier Inn is in a great location, allowing lovely walks through the market area where there are lots of great pubs and places to eat including a fab food court with outdoor seating (and indoor), also easy to walk on down the slight hill into town. The room itself was standard Premier Inn - comfortable and with all you require and the hotel was quiet. I thoroughly recommend and will stay again when visiting family.

  Nice hotel - but thieves broke into my car!

  Nice hotel with good pub serving decent food next door. But stay spoiled by car being broken into - and not just mine. Window smashed with large concrete block. Nothing of real value left in car. Further investigation revealed another car broken into with piles of glass around car park from previous break ins. Staff apologetic, not there fault of course. Plenty of CCTV camaras around which does suggest a problem. Hotel is very comfortable, good rooms, clean but would not stay here again unless

  Vicky and Natalie on reception brilliant very friendly very professional make the stay easy always happy to help vicky salt another team member very happy and helpful nothing too much trouble the manager is one of the best ive delt with he has a great team the hotel overall is brilliant clean tidy all helpful definitely recommended
