    No hot water!

    After a long drive to Newcastle we later found out we had no hot water in our room, they refused to sort the issue even though we had paid extra for an upgraded room ... rang reception 3 times and she said theres nothing I can do , youll have to contact guest relations ... the fact I couldnt have a shower or get even an apology was just awful customer service and top it off only got a couple hours sleep because of the noise in the corridors ...

    Best Premier Inn ever

    We picked this location for ease of access to Beamish and Life Science Centre and a trip to Sandhaven on the route home. The hotel is very well set up for covid with very clever ammendments made and super attention to detail. It is mega clean and inviting with great access to food and drink. The room was clean and tidy (Premier Plus room) and it had everything and more that you could possibly want. The staff were amazing, with Ricky serving us breakfast which was cooked to order and we were looked after at the desk by a lady who's name we did not catch-she has been there for years and it felt like she was looking after us in her home, she was so lovely and helpful. Really well done to the management and staff, we will definately come to you when we visit next

    All good nothing to moan about 2nd time there now both visits good no problems at all just wish the bar was open other than that no problems at all long journey up and all quiet in the hotel no problems at all would use again if ever in Newcastle again

    Excellent

    Without doubt the best Premier Inn Ive stayed in. Lovely clean rooms, the upgraded ones are worth the small increase. Staff are excellent, location is excellent and I look forward to staying here again soon.
